Jimmy Carter refuses to cancel speech for Hamas front

In what it’s calling a “major” get, the terror-tied Islamic Society of North America has booked Carter as the featured speaker at its national convention in Detroit tomorrow.

It marks the first time that ISNA, which claims to be a moderate umbrella organization for American Muslim groups, has hosted a U.S. president. Carter has also agreed to participate in a breakout discussion session at the event.

In 2007, the Justice Department implicated ISNA in a plot to funnel more than $12 million to Hamas terrorists. According to an unsealed court document, Justice labeled ISNA an unindicted co-conspirator in the successful trial of the Holy Land Foundation, which acted as Hamas’ fundraising arm in America. Much of Holy Land’s leadership is now behind bars. …

“Rommel was not a politican,”

Anybody at or above the rank of Major is a politician in my book. They just operate in a military political realm. As I recall, Rommel was going to be tapped by the Hitler bomb conspirators to take his place. The step from general to politician is so small as to be inconsequential. But what I was really thinking of was his competence. The point I was trying to make was what if Carter and Obama were both evil and competent?

Then they would be tyrants.

But they’re faux “peacemakers” in the vein of Neville Chamberlain instead. Fifth-column demoralizers too. Left-wing doves are just as dangerous as left-wing hawks.

“But they’re faux “peacemakers” in the vein of Neville Chamberlain instead.”

Chamberlain sold out the Sudetenland. But at the same time he presided over a huge military expansion. It was because of him that England had the Hawker Hurricane and the Spitfire in large enough numbers to turn the tide. Out of respect for that Churchill kept Chamberlain briefed on developments until Chamberlain died. Churchill was a class act. And, compared to Chamberlain, Obama and Carter the bit of rural you find between your heel and the sole of your shoe.

If being a Communist/Islamic Idiot Shill was currency then Carter would be a multi billionaire.

To: I want the USA back

Jimmah Carter is still giving America the finger for not returning him to office in 1980, only he has learned to focus his hatred on Israel.

The same way that muzzies hate the “Great Satan” and the “Little Satan”. Same logic.

Yep, I grew up in New York city, the liberal cesspool of the east coast. I couldn’t take it anymore so I moved a few years ago. 3000 people killed on 911, and who do they overwhelmingly vote for? A president who will all but ensure 911 happens again. We are 10 days now from the 911 anniversary, would not be surprised in the least if it happens again on that day especially considering the commie rat bastard they elected as Mayor has all but destroyed the NYPDs terror prevention unit.

Chamberlain sold out all of Czechoslovakia, actually.

He also actually limited Britain’s military buildup until it was almost too late. Take note of this:
One of the factors that limited the speed of Britain’s military buildup was Chamberlain’s fear of the deleterious effects that such a process would have on the domestic fiber—indeed, the very quality of the British way of life.

In the wake of the March 1936 German remilitarization of the Rhineland, the issue gained an impetus of its own. (Iain) Macleod noted how Chamberlain in November 1936 spoke out against a quick and total rearmament:
It would be rash and panicky to follow Churchill’s advice that we “must lay aside every impediment in raising our own strength”, for the sacrifices demanded would injure trade for generations, destroy confidence, and cripple the revenue.
In short, a balanced budget was a higher priority item than the buildup of a war machine for a conflict that, in Chamberlain’s eyes, might never occur. …
So Chamberlain was not as hawkish by far as Churchill and has to be criticized for his deliberately impeding the necessary military buildup for a long while thanks to his appeasement policy.

He was doing that in office as well. He could have backed the Shah and Israel, which would have made the neo-Caliphate of that time shrink back, but his left-wing “ethics” took precedence over the safety of both Israel and the USA. His “peace accords” led directly to the festering “land for peace” wound in Israel.

Yes, I’ve read your posts on your old NYC stomping grounds. As Ed Koch sardonically said after losing the election - the people made their choice and the people must be punished. I think most of the people who threw Dinkins out either have died or moved away.

These Anti-American Marxists now feel that they are in the drivers seat for good so they come out of the closet and broadcast their treasonous intentions.

...moderate umbrella organization for American Muslim groups...
++++
The only difference between a ‘moderate’ muslim and regular muslim is when they saw off heads, they do do it in private.

I’ll admit that Chamberlain was late to the party. But there came a moment when he understood that not only was he wrong, but that his entire world view was wrong. Either shortly before or after the peace in our time statement he told a confidant that there was going to be a war.

President Carter has had thirty-plus years to realize he was wrong and hasn’t made the connection yet. He is so in-denial that he has become (or is letting it show) a Jew-hating Muslim apologist. He can not and never will believe he was wrong. And, can you imagine President I’m-a-better-policy-maker-than-my-policy-makers-and-a-better-speechwriter-than-my-speechwriters could ever admit that the chaos in the world is his fault?

(I, however, am in the alternative school who believes the chaos in the middle east is what either he and/or his Iranian advisers wanted and he’s okay with that. Still, he’d like to be loved as the man who “began to lower the oceans and cool the planet.” It galls me that he’ll be making about a half million per 20 minute speech and his time will be filled and even double-booked.)

He didn't fool me back in 1976 when I cast my first presidential vote for Gerald Ford; he doesn't fool me now. He was always a Elmer Gantry like creep. Ironically, it was a speech by Ayn Rand that alerted me to Jimmuh's foul character.
