Why the GOP must capture the Senate
wnd.com ^ | 9/3/2014 | Lord Monckton

Posted on 09/03/2014 5:27:08 AM PDT by rktman

The coming midterm elections – just weeks away – may yet prove to be the most important in the history of the United States, and of the world.

There is a chance – it cannot yet be put any higher than that – that the GOP may recapture control of the Senate. The future of civilization itself may depend upon its succeeding.

The threat is real – so real that even to vote “Democrat” comes close to being treason. Lest that statement should sound too extreme, let me explain.

As Lord Monckton says, the republicrats still have a chance to win. But just a chance. If they do take the senate back, then the lyin' king will just proclaim that the deck is stacked against him by those evil conservatives and something must be done. Maybe an inside signal to some of the more radical crazy libs/progs/commies that are running loose on the streets. All I know is that we need to get out and vote city, county, state and national.

The dynamics will change significantly. The results probably won’t.

Instead of using the Senate as the block, the Senate will force the White House directly into some debates, where no they get to be the innocent bystanders. With a small majority, we will see no policy changes of consequence, though. Plus, the leadership is historically incapable of mounting any sort of effective public dialogue.

Well the only thing that will change is it will be different people blaming everything on Bush. What a bunch of children they all are. Keep playing fools. I just wish we could pick who the bad guys behead first.

Sure, the GOP “must” capture the Senate...

But it won’t.

I don’t believe that they will either. Because in 2012, the Democrats perfected their election stealing process. I do not believe that they will allow what they learned then go to waste. I believe that the Republicans will only win the races that the Democrats allow them to win.

I have some hope, but since the gop-e has been touting their upcoming “win”, it seems that it’ll just be status quo. Even if the do “capture the flag”. Rhetorically, why isn’t there a prospective gop candidate out there that’s worth a darn? Should have been someone gearing up for ‘16 starting the day after the lyin’king was re-selected.

What it will do is assure that some bills land on O’bastard’s desk for him to sign or veto. When he throws childish fits and vetoes sane, rational bills, it will hurt the RAT potus nominee in 2016.

Just like Carter, the stupid bastard is going to turn voters off to the idea of another RAT potus.

Until we take the Senate we can’t shift the blame to the RATS. Reid is protecting him now by blocking everything.

And now he’s off for national lampoons european vacation part II. First stop, Estonia. Probably secretly, he’s going to lead a SEAL team in to the middle of isis and rescue any remaining Americans being held. Hey lyin’ king. Don’t forget your clubs.

That is right, even if the democrat is nothing more than a dog catcher we need to throw him out.

We need to get as many democrats out of office as we can even if we have to vote on some one we don`t especially like.

We need to leave the stupid religion out of it which is why Islam has their man running our country which of course is just the communist tool that is being used to destroy freedom.

I'm not sure fraud is even a major player. Americans have become so malleable in pursuit of government "free stuff" their minds are oblivious to important issues that face the country.

Too much hype.

There isn’t that much of a difference in the Senate if you hold between 41 and 59 votes. Just different offices for different politicians.

It won’t matter if we win the Senate if it is only by a seat or two. The same thing will happen as has happened before; some liberal Republican will take off the mask, reveal himself as actually a Democrat, and change parties to give power back to Reid.

Good luck convincing some so-called conservatives that it is necessary to help the GOP win Senate seats. They would rather pout and then complain about the Democrats.

Keeping Harry Reid in control of the higher body of our legislature is a suicidal concept.
