The video which follows this article was published on social media by members of the terrorist organization, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, includes threats to attack Russian President Vladimir Putin and liberate Chechnya and the Caucus Region with Russian fighter jets and missiles ISIS had seized from Tabaqa Airport in Raqqa, Syria as reported by IraqiNews.com on 27 August.
Vladimir Putin, an ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, is a principal supplier of weapons and equipment for Syrian government forces.
A member of ISIS directs his words to Putin, “these Russian planes which you had sent to Bashar, God willing, will be sent back to your own country; we will liberate Chechnya, and the Caucasus, God willing,” adding that “your throne is threatened by us.”
The ISIS video also threatened to use air strikes to destroy the home of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. An ISIS narrator says to Assad that “you will not enjoy sleeping.”

Good luck with that. The Russians have one of if not the best IADS in the world. An untrained pilot going up against Russian air defense is popcorn worthy viewing.
Its a non started... seriously, even if they are forcing captured pilots to train them, they will be obliterated by truly trained pilots in no time.. these are PR more than real threats. It takes years to training to become a top pilot and most of the arab world’s air forces are not remotely considered “TOP PILOTS”... They ever tried to violate Russian or NATO airspace they would be downed before they likely even knew the enemy had them in their sites.
I am so confused by all this. I understand that ISIS are basically the orcs, but is Putin Sauron or Saruman?
