The annexed Crimea in the winter especially in dire need of the support of the Mainland, in which Russia will do anything to join the Donbass and the peninsula. The ex-Defense Minister Igor Tenûh on Channel 5.

According to him, the Crimea in the winter to survive without the Mainland Ukraine very hard. However, he did not rule out the possibility of air strikes on the Ukrainian cities.

"This does not mean that everyone should go to the front, to each city responsible for preparing the population to air strikes. Combine all of the management in the hands of the General staff, who will be responsible for all processes. God grant that this truce held, but do not think that Putin will abandon his plans" notes Tenuh.

Besides, according to Tenuha, Russia had issued passports in the Donbass region to make some semblance to the region of Abkhazia. Ukraine, in his view, should respond to this effective preparation for a full-scale invasion.

Previously, the group is told that NATO already has a plan in case of a Russian invasion.

Ukraine should contemplate not just defending itself, but attacking Russia and Russians in their home cities in the event of a Russian invasion.

They could use “Cherry Noble” as a “Deadman’s Invasion Switch” and threaten to release A GIANT cloud of raduioactive debris should Russia invade them.....

Ukraine has little or no capability to do that. The pro-Russian government of the last decade did not just loot the country, but they decimated the armed forces too. They literally gave their nukes and bombers to Russia too.

The last time two nuclear powers (India and Pakistan) had a war it almost killed us all and they only had atomic weapons. The Ukraine and Russia both also have thermonuclear warheads (aka “H-Bombs”).

Do you think they could make some more using their Nuke Plants or refining plants and do it quickly or do you think it is not possible?

Upon the breakup of the Soviet Union, Ukraine inherited the third largest nuclear weapons stockpile in the world after the Russian Federation and the United States. However, in the January 1994 Trilateral Statement, Ukraine committed to full disarmament. Kiev joined the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) as a non-nuclear weapon state in 1994, acceded to the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START I), and having transferred all of its nuclear warheads to Russia for elimination, became nuclear-weapon-free in 1996.

Although Ukraine possesses modest deposits of natural uranium, it still depends on Russia for fuel fabrication and other fuel cycle services.

Any work in that direction would violate the 1994 treaties but...

What country with any significant dealings with Russia over the last couple decades doesn't feel that way?

Russia moving more BUK anti-air missile systems towards Ukraine (these came from Belarus most likely)

Ten bucks says that this is one of the reasons that the Soviets insisted that Ukraine destroy (or return, can’t recall which) their nukes.

Interesting, 15 reactors.

I think in the mind of Ukraine, Russia has already violated that treaty and could probably use that as justification to ignore the treaty but what do I know.

Thanks for the link.
