Walid Shoebat on what’s really going on with ISIS and why US airstrikes don’t matter

Michael Savage had Walid Shoebat on yesterday to talk about the US airstrikes against ISIS in Syria as well as the bigger picture of what’s really going on with ISIS in relation to Turkey, Iran and other countries in the Middle East.

And it’s a perspective you won’t get anywhere else.

And it’s a perspective you won’t get anywhere else.

I’m not a big fan of Savage but he’s one of the only nationally syndicated shows that gives Walid Shoebat a voice and he recognizes that Walid is an expert that should be recognized even by governments.

Heard it yesterday and it was very interesting. Shoebat is worth a listen.

Savage can be a bit over the edge at times, but he is good when he’s not bashing other hosts like Mark. Levin is definitely better than Savage in that slot.

Shoebat (1) knows radical Islam from the inside, and (2) has a fully integrated Christian worldview to make sense of the big picture. His books aren’t the easiest thing to read, but he has the stuff down.

Obama withdrew our forces from Middle East locales in a feckless manner, and now he’s attempting to compensate with air strikes that won’t do the job.

Meanwhile, he endangers our personnel with idiotic missions to fight Ebola in Africa, even as he permits young men well-indoctrinated by ISIS to return to the country as sleepers.

Not only does Obama make no sense whatsoever, he’s playing around with the lives of American citizens.

But, hey, the Blacks love him, so it’s all okay.

There is a gun to our head to do this held by Putin. Our airstrikes will degrade ISIS’s modern capabilities. We have to do this or it is war with the rest of the world or they will ruin our economy by dumping our debt. The Syrian Army will finish the job on the ground.

Yeah, I get the feeling most of us are missing the big picture of the ME and 0bummer’s policies.

Thank you in advance to the FREEPER who will listen and give us working hacks a list of Dr. Shoebat’s top 5 or 6 points.

Now that Øbama has broken the cherry on airstrikes within Syria, will Pooty Poot step in and say “we have that part in the coalition and will back our boy Assad, the rest of you stay out of Syria.”

I just finished listening, learned a great deal, but was so aggravated by Savage, who interrupted Shoebat constantly, claiming to want clarification for the listener, he attempts to show off his own knowledge of the situation, and thereby confuses the issues, much more could have been learned if Savage would let the man stay attuned to the subject.

It seems that is the nature of talk show hosts, Savage is however much better than Hannity, who won’t even let a guest finish a sentence before interrupting.

Rush is very good at letting guests speak, but then again he hardly ever has a guest, and I doubt he would have such a guest as Shoebat, in any very rare guest interview.

Except for his daily segment with Jamie Dupree. It is obvious that Jamie and Sean have an 'understanding' regarding that interruption BS. The segment is the best part of the show.

I find Shoebat's personal claims unsubstantiated and questionable, while his rant against Protestantism is hardly objective and reasonable, yet his understanding of Islam and strategic analysis is quite substantial.

The main points i came away with are that,

• ISIS wants to remove borders of Iran and Turkey. Removing leaders such as Sadaam and now Assad is counterproductive as it will result in greater power to the two heavyweights, Iran and Turkey.

• The "Arab spring" worked to remove secular Islam and replaced it with religious Islam.

• Hatred or Biblical Judaism and Christianity is what is behind the hatred of the left (which statement Savage concurs with).

• Rise of Persia (Kurdistan) as Islamic state will fulfill Muslim goal toward regional a more unified dominance.

Min. 22.00 to 23.

Once you removed ISIS it will revive Iran into Iraq; it will revive Turkey into the entire region; it will change all the borders of the Middle East, you will have 10 regions in the Middle East which will all be Islamic [religiously], and this will basically cause an incursion into Egypt -

let's not forget the Muslim brotherhood is not over: the Muslim brotherhood is parked in Turkey currently; they are awaiting the Turks..Turkey will invade Egypt. Mark my words they will invade Egypt. They will invade North Africa. Look at the situation in Libya. Look at the situation in Tunisia: revival of Islamic caliphate is all over the place, even into Africa.

So Turkey will be this major Empire that will cause its incursions into the entire region and this blot [?] will rise again: the dead man of Europe isn't over yet; the Muslim brotherhood isn't over yet. This revival is continuing [and the US is aiding it]...

I believe that leaving Assad alone was made clear and is understood before we even went in. These strikes are concentrated on ISIS occupied areas and that’s it. Assad and Putin will finish the job after we have significantly degraded iSIS.

There is the benefit that Russkie operators in Syria can do a workup on the strike profile of the F-22. Another gift from Øbama.

Maybe and maybe not. They have to do this and trust me Obama is giving gifts to no-one anymore. He is on a leash.

The strikes were AT NIGHT and on areas arranged with ISIS in advance to allow 0 political cover and minimize damage to ISIS.

So says some people. We did pretty good at night in Iraq in 1991 and have improved greatly on our night weapons technology.
