Not sure which is more despicable: holding hands and smooching a Saudi prince or bowing to one.Easy answer: bowing is worse, since it is a gesture of subordination to a foreign ruler, which is not only "bad optics," but also a slap in the face to the core historical and American values that Obama always likes to invoke when it suits him, even though he has no concept of what they actually are.
Smooching, on the other hand, is an act between equals. Still repugnant, but not the outright affront committed when a U.S. president bows in subordination to a foreign monarch.
