In the real world things get nasty. Should we just ignore what happens in the world?

Seems to me us Conservatives are fond of saying, "America doesn't guarantee you won't be offended", until of course, it is we who are offended.

It’s amazing how many people here will put on a front of being tough and ready for a fight, but will wince at a swear word.

I totally agree. I don’t use profanities and vulgarisms much but I do let one slip out on occasion in the right kind of company, certainly not in church, but with the rural farmhands around where I live, it’s just a given.

What I really wanted to say, is to relate a back in forth of comments on a YouTube video the last 2 days which I and, shall I say, some green cretins, had. It was about global warming and I had posted a comment that I didn’t believe in it and was a denier. Well, as expected, the lefties came out of the woodwork. When I asked several of them why Al Gore or anybody else in the climate change movement wouldn’t debate the subject, they let loose on me with an onslaught of vulgarities, profanities and downright disgusting, despicable obscenities describing me, my family, my mother, and anybody else I knew that didn’t agree with their pet project, climate change.

They kept asking me to prove that climate change (global warming, whatever) didn’t exist. I made it clear several times, that it was not I that needed to convince them of my position but it was rather them who had to make the argument why it existed. They need the converts for the agenda and movement to move forward. The whole climate change thing is losing steam. People have listened to these radical green folks for so long and seen no impact in our lives or on the earth, that they just don’t believe in it.

Well, this initiated even more vulgarities and profanities thrown at me. I told them that if they want to win the climate change argument, that they weren’t going to gather in any new converts if their approach was to call them obscene names. They told me in no uncertain terms to f*ck off and disappeared from the site. So much for trying to engage in a conversation or debate with a liberal. It’s either you believe what they believe or you’re not worth the scum of the earth to deal with. Pretty revealing to me and confirms my opinions about liberals. They are off-the-charts looney.

Hay sweet pee! What do you think hard core politics sounds like? This is a war to them not a walk in the park.

Or even more clumsily, come in guns a-blazin for a RINO and discover it was one of their own to cause such uproar, then blush and slink back out the door with a furtive ‘oops’.

LOL - you ARE recommending folks vote for Grimes to ditch Mitch, remember? We don’t need no stinkin’ Senate if there’s a RINO in it? LOL

It is not a matter of how much everyone is willing to pay but rather how will you like your power being cycled off and on ever 15-30 minutes?

That is the plan folks. Check with every ISO in North America. That is how they deal with Generation not equaling the demand.

Good luck and make sure you vote.

Some people here live in some sort of verbally insulated dreamland where ‘four letter words’ set their ears on fire and affect them like a stake to the heart or something. They’ve obviously not spent much time out in the real world.(or the Navy)

"that didn't agree with their pet project, climate change."

We should call it by it's original name: "Global Warming". They changed the name because Mother Nature has not been cooperating with their global Marxist takeover agenda.

The name change helps them deceive people and make them afraid of the weather.

And you prove your inability to follow an argument: I've never said "don't ever vote Republican", or "you should vote Democrat" — what I have said is that you should only vote for someone (even if it's the nominee of the Blue Snorkeling Platypus Party), never against or because the 'other' guy is worse. You are the one who idiotically, and falsely, implicitly asserts that only Democrat and Republican exist.

My dad was career military, as was MrT5, and I work in construction-if profanity bothered me, or if I was afraid to use it, I’d be rather ineffective as a supervisor...

From zoominfo.com

Niko Elmaleh (since March 2008)
Vice President of World-Wide Holdings Corp. a privately held venture capital investor and real estate developer. A founder member of the Clinton Global Initiative and actively involved with the world-renowned Rocky Mountain Institute, Niko is specifically now developing and managing a portfolio of World-Wide’s assets in green technologies. He joined the Highview Board in March 2008.

In other words, old Niko stands to make some dough once Grimes ****s them.
