watch. the same establishment “experts” that said mittens lost because of the Hispanic vote, not because he was simply a crappy candidate, will begin a whispering campaign that jeb is “the guy” because he has an Hispanic wife, and that will draw Hispanic votes.

watch. It will happen.

He could stand to lose some weight.

But why not start now?

Actually My tag is there because the poster in question actually used that to try and defend Mitt Romney. I didn’t want him to forget. Havent seen him on any of the GOP threads lately...;)

And yes, I am serious. He actually tried defending Ronmey/the GOP with that line of ‘reasoning’ when it speaks volumes in the very opposite direction.

You know, for once Jesse Jackson was right “STAY OUT DA BUSHES!!” But also the Clintons, Kennedys, Udalls and Cuomos. Enough with the damn dynasties!

That’s fine. But the GOP does not need a pro-amnesty RINO for its 2016 nominee.

Last cycle we had a bunch of conservative and only Mitt. The conservatives split and we had Mitt.

This time fewer conservatives and more liberals — Christie, Jeb, and others may divide their side. If Santorum and other weaker players will sit this out, we may get a conservative nominee.

Aren’t there others qualified other than the bush family members. Forget it. I will never vote for a bush. Maybe the country needs to suffer more so that it awakens to the insanity of voting for LIBs/DIMs/RINOs.

I believe the bit about Romney. No doubt.

The GOP needs an outsider with real fire, who can actually speak, who’ll rock the GD podium with justified outrage and seldom heard demands and words like:

* Demand and reduce the size of government dramatically and immediately, starting with the IRS and EPA, Dept of Education etc.

* Demand and strive to eliminated bloated corrupt government unions forever.

* Eliminate all unneeded government programs.

* End career government mentality, demand and implement strict term limits across the board.

* Cancel U.S. membership with the U.N. and eliminate the U.N. from our soil.

* Secure our borders once and for all. Deport every single illegal caught on our soil. Those incarcerated are deported the same GD day of release. Literally tell the govenrment of Mexico to F off if they don’t like it. Amnesty is no longer a consideration.

* Move most all National Guard units in boarding southern states to train on the border. Other states can also use the newly developed National Guard bases right on the borders to train.

* Immediately implement 10 year massive immigration moratoriums for ALL legal immigration including student visas. We have more then enough. End this GD country killing chain immigration madness. Stop pandering to foreigners, government prints forms in English only etc...

* Build our Military back up. A secure America is fortress America. This is easily done with money saved from eliminating millions of government bureaucrats, EPA etc. Instead of building up Iraq and Ustinkistan, get their asses back here, when not training, get them to build infrastructure and develop reservoirs, pipelines, etc. Keep them in shape. Build water pipelines to the southern areas where much of the food is grown. This is no brainier sh*t.

* Make farmers a priority again.

* Create trade laws which actually benefits middle class America and our economy, not just the CEOs of all these superwealthy fat corps. No longer recognize NAFTA and other contracts which have created economic chaos. End corporate welfare....They pay too.

* Force the Feds to sell off or give away hundreds of millions of acres they have no GD business owning or controlling.

There are a few more issues which would go along with this Americanized platform. But just don’t ever expect to see a candidate up there who is actually capable of speaking like he’s one of us, and demanding these common sense changes with justified urgency.

In today’s America, a candidate on this platform would likely be considered an insensitive radical threat by all the insiders and others with personal conflicts and agendas.

What we’ll get is more insiders like the Bush’s, Obama’s and Romney’s.

The problem in a nutshell is that you extremely well reasoned post took place in a country filled with people that CONSIDER ALL THAT a radical notion.

Worse, the base of the GOP today considers it a radical notion and is every bit crony when something like that would impact their personal situation. I used to go round and round with a couple people on that very thing. They, ON FR, actually argued that we couldn’t cut like that because it would HURT the economy. Recently one freeper posted border fence info straight from a LaRaza connected website as to why we can’t build a fence.

Your list SHOULD be law. But we have to get our act together because half of ‘us’ will immediately side with liberals in fighting it.

And if — God forbid! — he gets the nomination, he’ll get crushed ala Mondale in 1984. Jeb has absolutely no chance at all of winning in 2016.

I will vote for a write-in in Jeb is the nominee.

As we all should. Had we done that for the last 30 years we would never have had the mess we do. Might have taken a couple elections but today, we would not have a GOP indistinguishable from the DNC.
