An inquiry into the swap is complete, but no news until after Tuesday
The Army has apparently completed its investigation of the circumstances surrounding the suspected desertion of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, but no one expects to see the results before Tuesdays elections. The last thing the Obama administration wants now is a round of attention to the sordid details of another public-relations disaster.
Sgt. Bergdahl, at the time a private, walked away from his base in Afghanistan in 2009 and spent nearly five years in Taliban captivity. His captors released him in May in exchange for five high-ranking Taliban terrorist commanders held at Guantanamo Bay. The Obama administration conducted the negotiations behind the back of Congress, and several soldiers who served with Sgt. Bergdahl, angry that the president traded five battle-hardened terrorists they had risked their lives to capture, said the sergeant had actually deserted his post. He may have gone looking for Taliban captors.
The Army has so far refused to release the report written by Brig. Gen. Kenneth Dahl, although it was completed weeks ago. Gen. Dahl earlier this month told The San Antonio Express-News that the document was being reviewed by commanders.

Report hasn’t been released because there is some bad news in that report. And Obama and his boys didn’t want it to come out before the election.
Probably the report will be released in a Friday afternoon news dump at some point. The Friday after Thanksgiving would be a good time.
More than corruption, an act of treason.
Waiting till after the elections.
The bassturd just doesn’t give a flying flip what we think about anything. Mexicos sysytem is incorrupt!? Ha! We are definitely in “war is peace”, “up is down” territory here.
What else to expect from the son of a family that can’t even spell Beau right.
I’m inclined to think the opposite. That’s there no way to prove he actually deserted or went to the other side.
What is, “What would Hasan and the Mullahs not allow?”
I strongly suspect the UCMJ action was directly corrupted by influence from the administration. Very likely Valerie Jarrett or some other hack contacted DoD and said there will be NO prosecution of Bergdahl.
That is my suspicion as well and Jarrett is more than likely the one.
Treason is the one accusation I have never made against Obama and never will. Treason requires that one owe allegiance to the country betrayed. Obama cannot be guilty of treason against our country - perhaps against Indonesia or against Kenya, but never against the USA.
.... sordid details of another public-relations disaster...
It’s a national security disaster. 5 Islamists were released for a traitor.
Just another Obola cover-up — nothing to see here.
One can only wonder why apathetic America tolerates such treacherous tyrranical trash
It will be released after the election.
He deserted, but Obama will release him anyway after determining that his captivity was “time served” for desertion.
