Repudiation [GOP should stop "going gay"!]
Canada Free Press ^ | 05 Nov 2014 | Tim Dunkin

To begin with, this election was, generally speaking, a rejection of the notion being advanced by many in the establishment wing of the Party that the Republicans needs to move to the Left on social issues like abortion and gay “marriage.” Earlier this year, GOP establishment leaders like Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan announced their plan to begin trying to recruit “Young Gun” candidates – socially liberal, and often homosexual, candidates to run under the Republican banner in an effort to “broaden the appeal” of the Party, especially to younger, socially liberal voters. John Boehner backed this effort, throwing money at the candidates who had been recruited to run this year. However, the voters who were supposed to be impressed by the GOP’s lurch to the Left on “individual choice” issues instead reacted with a collective yawn. In the race for the open seat in Massachusetts’ 6th congressional district, “Young Gun” Richard Tisei - a gay Republican who has a 100% rating from NARAL and Planned Parenthood, who (obviously) supports gay “marriage,” and who is “married” to his “partner” - lost by 15 points to a non-incumbent and relatively unknown Democrat. To give this some perspective, Tisei had ran for the same seat in 2012 against a well-known and long-time incumbent and lost by only a single point. It does not appear that Tisei’s choice to flaunt his peculiar lifestyle choice did him or the GOP any favors this time around...

Paul Ryan announced their plan to begin trying to recruit “Young Gun” candidates – socially liberal, and often homosexual, candidates to run under the Republican banner

ya - ok, sure Paul Ryan..

Also, Rand Paul.. “I believe in old-fashioned traditional marriage, but I don’t really think the government needs to be too involved in this and I think the Republican Party can have people on both sides of the issue,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said in an interview with CNN’s Peter Hamby.

Homosexuality is a judgement on America.

This needs to be pointed out consistently - homosexuality will not just bring judgement upon our country; homosexuality IS the judgement. Romans 1:26 starts with “For this reason” and continues “God gave them up to vile passions.” “..men with men committing what is shameful”; so this is a judgement upon our society.

It also continues and says that they give approval to others for more and more evil acts. We see this today with our legislatures accepting homosexual marriages and the teaching of it as acceptable in the schools.

Note also that Romans 1:32 points out that those who approve of such conduct are just as guilty as those who engage in it.

Being a lesbian I feel compelled to set people like Paul Ryan straight. Liberals are liberals first and homosexuals 2nd. They will vote for an rich old white male democrat before they will vote for a young poor black lesbian. I vote for my liberty 1st, both economic and individual. My worldview extends way beyond my genitals. Gay marriage is not on my radar as an issue except to oppose it. MARRIAGE IS A RITE NOT A RIGHT. IT IS A COVENANT NOT A CONTRACT. If your sole purpose is to get my vote based on my bed you are useless and YOU INSULT ME BY ASSUMING THAT WHEN I VOTE ALL I CARE ABOUT IS MY SEX ORGANS.

I WILL NOT BE PANDERED TO AS A WOMAN OR AS A LESBIAN. If economic or individual liberty is destroyed then nothing else matters.

Sodomites...

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” (Leviticus 20:13)

I don’t want to be a “big tent” with these filthy dreamers.

We know from Romans 1 that this applies to female sodomites too:

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” (Romans 1:26,27)

“Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:31,32)

Male or female, they are first and foremost reprobate, given over by God. Not my friend or ally.

Why is govt. involved in ANY marriage? Gay or Straight, it’s a church issue or an individual issue, not a state or fed gov issue. As a conservative, I don’t care what adult individuals decide to do with their private lives. It’s not a political issue to me.

I have a feeling the next 2 years are going to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that conservatives and Christians are unwanted in the GOP

because government has always been involved in marriage, it was always a civil thing. Heck the “puritans” who settled the first colonies didn’t even consider marriage to be a religious thing.

I agree with Rand Paul. I don’t believe the government should be involved in it.

My neighbors are lesbians and they hate the fact that Dems are pen during to gays. They are businesspeople (one owns a furniture store that been in her family since her grandfather), the other is a stay at home mom (both were married, but both were abused by their ex). They both don't hate men (except for their exes) and they home school.

Their kids are polite and conservative. I try to tell FR thatgays aaren't a single issue voters and most hate the stereotypical gay you see on the news (a guy in a throng dancing at a gay pride parade).

I understand the reaction people give me on FR. The activist homosexuals are the 1st impression and the face of homosexuality. It is a very bad 1st impression and a very ugly face.

I think the mistake religious conservatives make is to start using the bible to criticize and cast judgement. All that does is lend credibility to the lefts argument that Christians are intolerant. May as well have a Muslim use the Koran to criticize a Christian. Instead of calling someone a sinner maybe it would be more productive to say hey Mr. or Ms. homosexual, does it not bother you that the democrats think you are so single minded and monolithic that all that matters to you is that they pay lip service to same sex marriage during elections and they will have your vote. Do you want your success or failure to be determined by your homosexuality or based on the merit of your talents and character? For example Michael Sam. Did he get drafted as a political staement and then get cut because of the baggage and attention that came with it? Or was he good enough but didn’t perform? No one will ever really know because he decided to make it about his genitals. The homosexual movement wants to make it about their genitals because the people that use them as pawns know they will get more controversy and money out of it that way. Conservatives ought to educate not just homosexuals but minorities and women on individual rights, not the factors that separate people into groups that will put into question their merits.

I don’t want success because of I’m a woman or a lesbian and I exploited some non merit based bias. I want my success based on my individuality. That is what conservatives should be educating homos women and minorities about.

The Homo Nazi’s and the left are intolerant.

Homosexuality is a mental illness and should be treated accordingly.

We need to get these people away from kids, schools and everything else.

Civil marriage was first organized by ancient jews something like 5,000 years ago. This was their best bet to civilize human beings. They set the ground work for modern civilization as we know it.

Marriage is not a “religious” thing, it is a societal thing, a civilizational thing. Even the puritans who came to America did not think it was a religious thing but a civil, and the church was the center of pretty much everything back then.

It is the foundation of civilization, those who want it trapped between walls of a church are cheapening it
