Akron General and Aetna have been quite prompt with their bills and our co-payment bills as well.
They’ve been very good about everything since we stared them down over that MRI nonsense.

In addition, Bryan is keeping track of all the bills and what to pay when. Apparently, our co-payments
go down by 20 to 22% if we pay them immediately. So we pay them immediately. Works like a charm,
and we have saved a significant amount of money by Bryan’s management of the bills and our finances.

I remember when I had the gallbladder and ulcer thing done in 92, I was back at work and getting "little surprise bills" from various "unknown" doctors and little extra "add-ons" hospital bills 2 months afterward.

Kept asking "who the hell is this new clown".
Took about 3 months to get everything squared away.

I don’t recall how things went back then, but I think they used to have advocates for patients who needed help understanding
their bills from services rendered while the patient was under anesthesia and did not remember getting the treatment.

It’s been a long time... A little push-back by the patient, and hanging on like a bulldog really makes the insurance companies
back down and start fulfilling the promises they made when you signed up for their coverage.

The insurance company was balking at paying one bill, called them and the representative said I could file an appeal, told them I wouldn't be filling anything, but my lawyer would, bill paid in full in 3 days, LOL!

Sometimes it pays to lose patience.

Obviously I can tell you nothing. You already have your ducks in a row.

Smarty pants... ;-)

I am usually deep in the shadows (a new comer).

Have read of your troubles and wish the love of
our Lord, Jesus.

You are in my prayers.

Goodness! After over a year of lurking and holding your fire, you’re probably a very well-prepared FReeper.

Thank you so much for praying for me, and I hope, for my dear husband as well. He has been jumping through
hoops for many months now dealing with this, and prayer really helps us both.

Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I offer up my trials to Him. You are very kind to pray for me, a total stranger,
and I will add you to my FReeper prayer list as well.

When I lose hope, I ask for an infusion of the Holy Spirit, and things tend to turn around after that.
