By the way, confinement is much safer for the baby pigs. Sows breeding in the open end up killing a large proportion of their offspring by laying on them. They’re massive animals.
His pig problem is that he could easilly be included in a truckload going to slaughter and no one would know by looking at the load.

Agreed. My experience is friends and families having hog operations, plus I have done a ton of work (plumbing, electrical, some misc. work when our regular work was slow) on 5 different operations, plus I did some relief choring on a couple.
