I am in need of some information that will help many of us here especially over those tough family interactions during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We know Stinky Reid scuttled many bills on immigration reform...amongst other bills...we also know the ministry of truth (aka MSM) has kept this a secret. The Left and Caesar 0bummer claim they had to do the EO because Republicans gave them nothing to work with...a Joe Wilson screaming lie!
Long preamble...stay with me...what I need - and I think many of us here need - is such a list perhaps with thumbnails of the bills /proposed changes to Democrat bills which Reid would not let come to the floor for a vote. We have pastors who we need to show they are out of alignment with the truth...the left is winning this argument. Ephesians 4 tells us to speak the truth to our brothers...Can someone help me with this list? I know it has to exist.
What EO? Got a number?
I've seen a bunch of yammering, but I haven't actually seen an EO. Looks like Obama is playing games so he can live free in some people's heads.

You aren’t going to convince these people with anything. They will always believe MSM miseducation and outright lies by Democrats BECAUSE they WANT to.
Their minds will only be changed when circumstances change to the point they are adversely affected. I gave up on people like this long ago; they’re not worth knowing.

The best you can do is make a throwaway comment, SHORT, and say along the lines of “I wish the media would report the whole story” then refuse to get into a debate....it’s a holiday!

This is not intellectually driven, this is emotionally based. No amount of Fact will change this.
Here’s a clue: If you lead with “Stinky” and “Obummer,” you will not succeed in persuasion of liberal relatives.
I believe the information you need is this: People who still need convincing are beyond convincing, even our beloved family members.
You will waste your time, and possibly ruin what should be gatherings of people who, while you may not admire their critical reasoning or patriotic insight, you ought to feel connected to on some other, perhaps deeper, level. You’ll all be dead in a few years or decades: is this really how you’ll want to spend some of the precious time you might have with them?
Have them file a lawsuit. It seems their favorite activity.
Just say they all stink, and enjoy your dinner.
I really believe that the reason the left has gotten so powerful is because the right has decided not to engage.
For the next election, the most important question needs to be “what are you going to do to take on the media bias?” There is no point in going after the left if we continue to use the same excuse about what the media is going to say.
Everyone knows a dyed in the wool supporter of the left, of course you won’t change their mind, but the largest group is the defacto leftist because that is the only information they ever hear. We really need to go after this group of people by showing them who the left really is.
what I like to do is not bring up tons of information. I have always voted R, but am not at all happy with the R’s right now. I used to call myself Conservative, but so does everyone else. I now call myself a member of the tea party, the Ronald Reagan wing of the Republican party. In doing this, it becomes very easy to deflect any “the other side does it too” comment. Agree, Govt. is corrupt. Bring up your own examples, every day in this country we use debit, credit, ebt cards with no errors, and almost instant data updating, yet our govt. can’t figure out how to do this for voting?
How about, Did you know that it is not illegal for congressmen to buy/sell stocks that might be involved in upcoming votes? So much for equal treatment under the law.
How is it that so many in Congress come in as thousandaires, and leave as multi-millionaires?

It would also be nice, if when you put yourself out there open for ridicule by some nasty leftist, relative or not, if others who mostly agree with you would simply say” I agree with Cincy” No need for shouting, yelling, arguing, just a simple statement.
My best advice to you for family interaction over the holidays is to enjoy your family. Avoid political discussions and just let it go for a few weeks. That is what Mr. GG2 and I are going to do. Blood is thicker than water.
What you need to do in the midst of the mindless, is to lead the conversation into traps for which you have prepared. The traps are where you have solid evidence and sources ready to cite for all the mindless drivel that will be spouted. I love to do this. Play a bit unsure about a topic (of YOUR choice), and let the libtards take you to their side, directly into your trap. Then unleash questions to which you have all the answers! It works wonderfully!!! If you do this three times, they will no longer want to “help” you! hahahahahhaa.
