PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - Three Portland police officers posted images on their personal Facebook pages of the official Portland Police Bureau badge, surrounded by a bracelet saying, "I am Darren Wilson."
Chief Mike Reese ordered them to remove the images Monday.

Perhaps they should ALL stand up and speak out like this, regardless of the consequences. They took an oath. The Constitution is being violated over and over by Federal, State and local pols, yet the cops are only interested in running your #'s. When they stand up and speak out, regardless of the consequences, I'll have much, much more respect for them. Why remove the 'bracelets'? They are bowing to the powers that be, is all. Symbolism over substance, as Rush calls it.
It’s okay for a moslem in full dress police uniform to get down - kneel and pray in the streets of NY City...but this gets slammed....whatever...
These dept’s are scared of the back lash of Jessie Jackson and Big Al...

Officer Wilson definitely needs to relocate somewhere. God protect him and his new wife.
I wonder how many other Darren Wilsons there are in his age group who may soon be getting threats or worse.
Would rather have them declare “I’m faithful to the Constitution first and foremost.”
I also wonder how much less effective the police will be since they will be forever second-guessing themselves. Under the same circumstances any cop would hopefully do the same thing to save his own life, but one more burden for the average cop to worry about.
This type of response just enforces the “us” versus “them”. Group Solidarity is given in private oath, not broadcast over the world wide web.
Liberals have very effectively separated blacks from the very people who would protect them from the predators in their community.
Where’s the officer’s union on this? Clearly the officer’s right to free speech is being violated with this threat.
Looks like the “us” is on its way to eventually forming a nationwide union against “them.” Find a quiet place to live and stock up on popcorn. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.

Eh, they’ll just avoid these areas completely. Stay out of the thugzone and the danger diminishes exponentially.
