The subtance they have is Uranium. Big deal. No dead zone there. Like I said, the main impact is induced fear.

A dirty bomb is NOT a nuclear weapon.

Here’s hoping that they use it anywhere but her - might wake up a few folks and force some to change what has been going on in D.C......

Perhaps it is working up to an incident that will finally induce England and thereafter Europe to do what they must do for Civilization to survive there, expel their Moslems, all of them. It has been done before.

I for one do not care, IMHO the UK, will only be getting what it deserves, their leaders, I mean rulers have allowed hundreds of thousands of Muslims in to the UK and given them lots of free stuff to come there. When you sleep with dogs you wake up with fleas....

Sating back more like 1100 years. Roman Civilization was ended by Moslem pirates cutting off trade with the Eastern Empire ending the supply of papyrus. A generally literate population became illiterate and the darkness followed.

The really pure fundamentalists, the Wahhabis, are uncomfortable with Mecca, anyway, The shrines, even the Ka’aba are regarded as idols and inappropriate. The requirement to visit Mecca once in one’s life would be satisfied were Mecca simply a slick spot on the desert.

Such a bomb going off in London would cause not only physical destruction, but also economic chaos. Stock markets around the world would plunge with all sorts of unexpected results, none of them good.

ISIS is a deadly enemy that needs to be thoroughly destroyed. No amount of military resources is too much to spend on this effort. It’s either them or us, “us” meaning Western civilization.

The biggest problem would be breathing the radioactive dust from the explosion.

Anyone notice this?

40kg of Uranium that [ISIS] 'stole' from the Mosul University some four months ago

I thought Iraq didn't have any "weapons of mass destruction" and that "Bush lied people died"?

Again, how much of it would there really be? Uranium is only MILDLY radioactive.

Your body does NOT care that it is radioactive, it sees anything you breathe in as dust and will try to remove it just like non-radioactive dust.

A dirty bomb is all about FEAR, not actual damage.

It’s a good thing there are no muslims in Britain, otherwise ISIS could blend in.

Nothing would change, the rhetoric that it is all our fault would be increased.

Really? It isn’t? It is an explosion using radioactive materials.

I know it isn’t what is referred to as a “nuclear bomb”. But you do know that a lot of people do not know the difference.

A dirty bomb can be more devastating to life then a nuclear bomb. What do you think a neutron bomb is? Basically a highly sophisticated dirty bomb. Spread as much radiation as possible. Same idea, different mechanics.

I hope you are wrong, but cannot claim that you are. It would seem that if they actually lit off anything with nuclear materal, saner minds would finally start to push back on those who would love to see our Nation destroyed. It would allow a huge opening for a lot of the People to stir to action and add to that push.

On the other hand, entropy does seem to dictate that your scenario is likely.

You said, “Really? It isn’t? It is an explosion using radioactive materials.”

Yes, really, it isn’t. In no way, shape, or form is a chemical bomb related to a nuclear bomb. They are many magnitudes different in destructive power and consequence.

You said, “I know it isn’t what is referred to as a “nuclear bomb”. But you do know that a lot of people do not know the difference.”

And yet you just said/implied above that there was very little difference. I did say that FEAR is the major impact of this kind of weapon. This fear is generated by being uninformed. A “dirty bomb” has been hyped to be as destructive as a nuke when it cannot be. Apparently you have bought into this.

You said, “A dirty bomb can be more devastating to life then a nuclear bomb. What do you think a neutron bomb is? Basically a highly sophisticated dirty bomb. Spread as much radiation as possible. Same idea, different mechanics.”

Where to start. If a dirty bomb can be even More devasting to life than a nuke, then why do we not mount much cheaper dirty bombs on our ICBMs? Think of the budget savings! A little C4, a little raw uranium, voila.

One can make a dirty bomb from any number of common everyday items, and you claim it would be worse than a nuke. Please.

And no, a neutron bomb is NOT a sophisticated dirty bomb. A dirty bomb uses a chemical explosion to disperse an existing load of contamination, nothing new is generated, no nuclear reactions occur. A neutron bomb uses a nuclear reaction to generate a large pulse of neutron radiation that is destructive only to life, not property. It does not spread radioa tivity. In fact that property is what made it attractive to use. So, no they are not the same.

I never claimed they were the same. I simply meant to point out what some people will think. That will be used against Americans, and Freedom all over the world.

Maybe we should call nukes nuclear reaction bombs. People hear uranium, and connect it to nuclear. I know the difference. There is no nuclear reaction, and dirty bombs are just a chemical reaction just like all the other bombs, and shouldn’t be worried about. /s

Could OUR way of life absorb a dirty bomb? Every talking head would be running around like chickens with their heads cut off, and liberals would use it to:
A) Shut down nuclear power plants.
B) Power grabs
C) Highly regulate “all” radioactive material, or anything that could be used to make a “dirty bomb”
D) Grant the TSA MORE POWER
E) Regulate nuclear energy even further
F) Use it as a way to round up political enemies
G) Grant DHS MORE POWER
............the list goes on FRiend.

In the long run a dirty bomb would be just as devastating to America as a nuclear bomb, but not as devastating as a crippling cyber attack, or EMP.

As more islamic countries develop, refine, and advance nuclear tech. Our window of preemptive defense diminishes. Personally, I think it’s shut and now it is just a waiting game. Hopefully I am wrong. I still do not fully understand why Israel stopped Iran when it could have been easily done. I honestly think GWB would have, if not for low approval ratings, and about 7 years of wars with few real accomplishments(Saddam......for???? ISIS? Really?).

I sincerely hope that mistake isn’t what GWB is remembered for 10-20 years from now. The writing on the wall is clear as day to me, the global propaganda machine is in full force, a war of information and proxy warfare is going on the likes of which could never have been comprehended a few decades ago. Only a few seem to understand that we are losing this silent war badly, seemingly on purpose, and for what? Sin, arrogance, and death.

“Mission Accomplished”
