Folks,
Warren is setting the stage for the 2016 presidential elections. The narrative has begun, and the Democrats are going to return to their populist, lunch-box, working-man roots. Yes, we know their full of beans and their still elitists, but populist issues are going to play big in 2016. The Dems are hemorrhaging the white blue-collar and middle-class vote.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
They’ve polarized themselves to the point where they can’t agree to kick the can down the road.

Democrats were for this bill until we stopped Boehner from strong-arming support from even the ‘moderate’ Republicans.
Then... and only then....
The media says the Dems opposed it LOL!
The House Dems are finally irrelevant.

Which is why we need an anti corporatist conservative. Question: Could a Right-Left anti-Crony Capitalist block emerge in the next Congress?

It's a head fake. Pretend Libs are just as outraged to try and make Conservatives feel better when we get screwed.
Once Obama signs this then the GOP Conservatives lose any and all leverage they had to get rid of things like Obamacare or EPA Over regulations.

And this can be why Warren and others are blocking the bill; may want the President to deal with all Republicans in 2015 as punishment for viscerating their party.

When Momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy. It’s disappointing to hear the Democrats saying that they have a pretty good deal on the table. It’s encouraging to see the loonie lefties kicking out of harness. The problem is that the Republicans have a pretty weak hand until the new Congress convenes.
The Republicans politicians are scared to death of a government shut down and are all convinced that they will lose their house on the lake if they stand up to the Commiecrats. I am reminding my Congresscritter and Senators about what we said in November. Pat Roberts, for one, seems to have gotten the message, although for some unknown reason he apparently got himself onto the TSA no fly list.

So when Ted Cruze opposes a funding bill he threatens the stability of the entire global financial system for pure political gain, but whe Fauxahantis and the rest of the Dems do it, its for selfless and noble reasons ....

I'm not sure they can do that. The Dems have reached, and possibly passed, the tipping point where all the policy wishes of the disparate members of their coalition are starting to collide with one another.
How do you sell a white blue-collar voter on the Dem Party when his job was just taken by an Hispanic granted amnesty by the Democrats? How do you sell the middle class on the Dem Party when their tax dollars are going to support political payouts to key member groups of the Democrat base?

That may be the case, but unless they are insidiously well-organized they are seriously inflaming their own base to opposing this bill as well.
Hell, I'm seeing the Libs on my FB friends list light up over how the "Hands Up" walkout by Dem Congressional staff was an intentional distraction from whats happening with the funding bill.
