Violent protests broke out early Wednesday between police officers and a vocal crowd of several hundred people who taunted the officers at the scene of the shooting. Two officers were injured, police cars were damaged and fire was set at a QuikTrip store. Four people were arrested.
After the police officer arrived at the store, one of the men pulled a handgun and pointed it at the officer, St. Louis County police spokesman Sgt. Brian Schellman said. The officer fired several shots, fatally wounding the man. The second man fled, and the dead man's handgun has been recovered, according to Schellman.

Payback by a “white” cop for the murders of the “yellow” and “brown” cops by the crazy “black” gunman? Dang, I might be ready to apply for a “job” as a journalist. I’ve got this stuff down.
Yeah, that reporter needs to have to look down a barrel and know that he can only do anything if and only if the gun is fired at him.

11:13:47 - LEO arrives and a three men (one with a cart) turn to approach the LEO. The fourth, separate from the group, begins toward the LEO.
11:13:53 - Victim breaks off and goes to the left, near the building.
11:14:17 - Victim appears from left side and approaches the group.
11:14:25 - one man from group moves between victim and LEO. The man’s posture is interceding. His arms are extended between the victim and the LEO.
11:14:47 - Man moves to victim. (woman emerges from parked car.)
11:14:49 - Victim turns away, man MAY have pushed him away with his hand/arm. Man stays between victim and LEO.
11:14:51 - Victim moves further away from the group, turns away and draws with right hand. (woman on concrete walkway now.)
11:14:55 - Victim turns toward group, raises, and aims at the group. (the woman is in perfect position to see the event.)
Yeah, same as the ROE for our troops.
Expect Holder and Sharpton to begin calling for disarming police officers, so this kind of thing cannot happen.
I see nothing here that might present a problem.
