Those parents should be slapped. Slapped very hard. I suppose having your little pre-schooler out blocking traffic isn’t child endangerment as long as you’re a liberal. It’s ok for them to teach them not to follow the rules and it’s ok to inconvenience those drivers.

If the resident clown and his mighty pen can issue regulations on the internet, he should add another regulation that protestors must be old enough to tie their shoes.

White kids need to be toughened up.

You are so right. Having taught in a formerly predominately white school district which became school-of-choice and quickly over-run with kids from the inner city, those white kids never knew what hit them. They were so out-manuviered at every turn by the street-wise black kids. And I'm talking at the elementary level. Whereas before, I would have happily placed my kids in that district, (our test scores were consistently high) I NEVER would have allowed them to set foot in those schools after SOC was in effect. Talk about putting your kids in harms way. Plus, we could no longer even make AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) which means our test scores were consistent at the bottom of our state.

“Parents” treating their children this way is wrong on so many levels. It is hypocritical because they are absent from baby murdering facilities. It is cruel to put your children in a potentially hazardous situation. It is also inhumane IF they would apply the same standard as to water boarding.

This is a battle raging in my own family.
