ITS A NO BOEHNER BUT.....

It should be a 'NO BOEHNER ' kind of day but as I lay out possible outcomes of the day, there are harsh realities on the table.

Only a small group are really committed to changing things like Gohmert, Brat, Bridenstine, Massie and Amash among others. Remember names like that. They are greater men (moles and Judases excepted) than the ones who represent you and claim to be conservatives or even "patriots" like my congressman Scott Perry does. (Perry has announced he won't support Gohmert tomorrow)

It is my conviction that 95 percent of Republicans in Congress either repudiate conservatism or fake it with emotional speechmaking and propaganda.

If the Boehner challenge gains traction, that 95 percent will choose another of their own to offer fake conservative talk and take no concrete conservative action.

And what of the rest of the corrupt leadership of the GOP who clearly come from the 95 percent????

Lets see what comes down.

I see the major political parties of "the Left" and "the Right" around the globe working together to move the world in the wrong direction.

Some good, bad, ugly parties are emerging as alternatives in Europe. UKIP in the UK is the best. UKIP draws from Left and Right and any new party will need support from both to blunt the political machines and break through to success.

When defeated at the Republican National Convention in 1976 for the GOP presidential nomination with operatives like a young Haley Barbour leading the way for President Gerald Ford's narrow win, Ronald Reagan spoke of a process resembling "the world with its pants down".

In these final hours before the vote, the pants are down and "butt ugly" tactics are being used to force compliance with the will of John Boehner.

Reagan urged his supporters to stay with him and the GOP back in 76 and I certainly did but here we are in the last year nearly 40 years later seeing an older Haley Barbour's race card play to help win a primary runoff for the Mississippi Senate race.

Then we see Boehner's Cromnibus trick to lock in higher spending for the next session of Congress. I say that because extending spending to next fall was a maneuver to make the vote then one where fear of consequences in next year's elections will be used to whip recalcitrant members into line to keep the over the top spending continuing until 2017.

God Bless America.

A great nation like ours can do better than leaders like John Boehner and his lieutenants and or the Republican Party they represent.

I work a lot and need to sleep so I will miss the action later on. I offer my thoughts.

I'm too busy to monitor all the media. Anyone want to post observations about MSM, "conservative" media websites, outlets, hosts?

Did my namesake go big on it?, Hannity's take?, Beck seemed big on it, Levin also.

Was Fox anywhere close to the "wall to wall" this deserves or just mentioning it and moving on to other matters.

Anyone spreading the GOPe mythology of a Nancy Pelosi win that's impossible with 218 the winning number with all 434 (one resigned) present as expected noon today?

With this vote we will find out how many conservatives there are in Congress. I will never see someone who votes for Boehner as conservative. By selecting Boehner they are sloughing off the necessity of voting on principle later because he will not permit votes where a nominal conservative must declare his principles. They either reject Boehner or they turn over the House to Obama. It is the same in the Senate. Keeping McConnell is actually retaining Reid as the real majority leader in the Senate. That has mostly been the way of it with Republicans for many years except for a short uncharacteristic time with Gingrich. The Chamber of Commerce and the leftist/Mercantilist Billionaires own the legislature. Crony Capitalism is no more than the 17th century Mercantilism of monopoly capitalism.

If there are enough Republicans to cut Boehner off, I wonder if Pelosi would assign enough Democrat votes to Boehner to put him over? They would be thereby regaining control for the Democrats and Pelosi. She, being the Democrat Minority Leader would be the de facto Speaker of the House. And Boehner would owe her.

I think it tells you something about the GOP when you can even find 29 prinicipled members of the House GOP.

Is the GOP really something you want to be associated with?

This whole mess sounds like one group of “cons” trying to out con another group of “cons”. We all know most of them are really “con artists” who speak with forked tongue.
