Of course nothing will happen. This is just as Boehner wants it.

In the photo,
EXEMPT Issa and EXEMPT Cummings received an AWARD in 2014
from EXEMPT Boehner for covering up Fast&Furious,
NSA and IRS.

How soon will EXEMPT Chaffetz receive
EXEMPT Boehner's coverup AWARD.

More Smoke & Mirrors and a few crumbs tossed to the voters but no real action.

This is to distract the conservatives back home so they won’t notice his vote for the quisling Boehner yesterday. Chaffetz plays a conservative on TV, but that crucial vote said otherwise.

After yesterday, I am convinced we’re watching a meaningless show. Turn it off.

If those phonies spent as much time getting to the bottom of the scandals and less time on honoring each other and blowing their own horns, maybe, just maybe we might get somewhere towards finding the guilty parties that the rest of know are there.

Of course. The only thing they understand is getting your money and your vote. Having gotten these two items, you are useless to them. Until the next cycle.

There is nothing left in the GOP to hold onto or reform. Time to get out and deprive them of both money and votes. There should be a list of those who voted against Boehner. All the others must be defeated at all costs in 2016. Why hasn’t someone announced their candidacy against Boehner already?

Among many. These assclowns, for the most part, don’t represent anybody anymore. Well, except themselves.

the US government and especially those in DC and the MSM is a joke but the hard working tax paying people don’t think it’s very damned funny. Who will get the last laugh?

“If those phonies spent as much time getting to the bottom of the scandals and less time on honoring each other and blowing their own horns, maybe, just maybe we might get somewhere towards finding the guilty parties that the rest of know are there.”

Actually your comment needs to be broadened to include everything that goes on in the Congress. Blowing their horns (and taking bribes from special interests) is about all they do today. I simply don’t believe that a truly honest, patriotic person would behave as they ALL Do! But the truth is, they are not far from running out of other people’s money and the resulting downfall of our Republic. The “newbies” simply become co-opted right out of the box as you can see by this disgraceful episode of “voting for the new Speaker.”

“Why hasn’t someone announced their candidacy against Boehner already?”

Because the effective control of our Legislative bodies is held by the “monied few.” Occasionally you get an election result like Brat winning in VA, but that kind of event is an outlier today. Only when the country finally crashes will people make changes in their elected reps (maybe). I used to believe in free enterprise, but I have come to the realization that guys like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet must have limits placed on them by society because they do great damage with their accumulated wealth no matter how honestly they originally came by it. Having millions (or even billions) to spend as you see fit in the political process puts very big thumbs on the political scale to our collective detriment. I would start by breaking up the media companies because they are doing the most immediate damage.
