I'm real tempted; thanks anyway. But I need to get something a little more updated - not too much 'cause I hate all those doo-dads, bells, whistles & shiny things - and the 6085 might work, but AT&T has some new clamshells with basic features. I can disable other stuff I don't need or want.

Getting 9yrs from that 6060 was highly unusual; the AT&T people were stunned when I showed it to them; clean and pristine.

My washer still works fine; it was the dryer which shut-off 10mins into the cycle. I might as well get a matched pair if I’m replacing the dryer, since they’re both upstairs next to the master BR.

My GE gas stove, dishwasher, ‘fridge and microwave all lasted 22yrs, but when my Sis wanted to give away her new condo’s new black GE appliances, I took them. She got some beautiful stainless appliances. I think the older units were built so much better; the longevity and trouble-free operation backs that up. I don’t need 23 different water temperatures, 14 spin settings, 5 cool-down cycles, 2 cat fluff options, or a dry-off, no spot setting.

Just the dryer croaked, but the washer and dryer were matching, separate GE units. They were reliable and simple to use; no bells and whistles, just worked perfectly everytime.

Do you remember the diameter of the tree?

2yrs ago, I contracted a local tree co to have 4 60ft Japanese Cryptomeria, 3 60ft American Holly (Ilex Opaca), 1 50ft Blue Spruce (Picea Pungens), 1 60ft Norway Spruce (Picea Abies) removed from Dad's front yard, and the job took 5 days with stump grinding and all chips removed.

Two friends and I cut down a 40ft, 100yr old Yew (Taxus Baccata) in the back yard. It was massive and had impressive trunk architecture.

In ‘74, when I got out of the South Miami Hospital after being shot, I went to Tamiami Gun Shop and bought a Colt Trooper MK III 6” .357 Magnum ($205.95 - still have the little yellow receipt), there were a dozen Colt Pythons .357 mag, for $450-500, 6” & 8” barrels, and I passed on them. I’m still regretting that. Now, they’re going for $3,500-6,500 and harder than hen’s teeth to find, except in collections.

You might want to get the .40 caliber and then buy a .357 conversion barrel. The .40 caliber ammo is a lot easier to find.

Here’s some handy YT videos and sites on “How To Check A Used Revolver”, before you buy. You’ll impress the shit out of the seller and gun shop people. And get yourself a good piece of hardware, instead a worn-out POS.
