Those that did not vote for the son of a bitch have my empathy, but we have suffered long and lots. Let those that inflicted him upon us get a piece of the action for a change.
Evidence continues to mount that the American people are just plain stupid.
I wonder if Rush ever ventures out into the raw, un-vetted public as a private person. He would be hard to disguise, but it can be done, so long as he doesn’t speak. I would think as great as it is to be “Romney Level Rich” as Rush is, it may get lonely. He seems to be a genuine ‘people person’. Of course, in this day and age, there may actually be enough of the very rich (with their families, with their pets and pet projects) to provide him and his wife with a circle of friends.
I’m impressed that someone with profound hearing loss can continue working on talk radio. It’s truly remarkable. He could sell a few million books just writing on how he and his assistants produce the show under the conditions of hearing loss.
There are a lot better places to save money than the IRS.
There's a schedule that people will pay fines. The fines are cheaper than policies the first couple years on purpose. It doesn't take long, though, that the fines end up being more expensive than the policies, but the fines being cheaper than the policy are designed to get people to pay the fines first if they don't want insurance. It's a psychological thing. And I remember telling people, the only way the IRS is empowered to collect the money is by seizing money from you via your tax return.

This whole mess is incredibly complex. In the ‘hood, “fast tax” offices pop up on every street corner in January. Does anybody know if the law also allows IRS to not pay EITCs in addition to garnishing refunds?

Well we know the IRS hired 15,000+ attorneys and accountants to administer Obamacare. So they certainly have bulked up.

IRS hires 15k+ accountants and attorneys but the VA doesn’t have the means to hire people to file and do data entry. ok.

That’s what I’ve been saying for years.
The goal should be to owe as much as possible on April 15th without having to pay a penalty.
Rather keep the money I have and pay then to have the gubmint keep it.
