Are those “private” highways?

I drove through Texas this past summer on my motorcycle. Parts of it were scary fast!

From what I can discern in the several reports I have read this is a record of the radar records of speeds approaching the toll stations. The speed limits there are typically 15 mph, I believe, as I have encountered these many times along I-80 between Illinois and NJ.

I can tell you factually that Ohio as long ago as 1986 was "timing" cars on the Ohio Turnpike.....

I'll never forget the look on the toll workers face when I handed them the ticket I picked up in eastern Ohio on the western side of the turnpike during a trip home from Buffalo, NY after visiting family.

They looked at me, looked at the car I was driving, then looked at the ticket.

Looked at me again looked at the car again and looked at the ticket again. Did that a few times, before finally saying "That'll be four dollars and fifty cents."

The car was a 1984 Nissan 200SX twin turbo which ran at more than twice the posted speed limit during its run through Ohio. :-) What a great car it was!!!

In short you are being tracked and not just for money.
I am betting the state princes and princesses are immune from the speeding tickets.

This software already exists.

I’m just repeating what he told me. I’m guessing there are different forms of it used on different systems.

If you are using when you enter and leave the system...you are being tracked. They have been using this information, in its aggregate, ever since they issued these things. Anyone who believes otherwise is naive.

As a lot of cheating spouses have since found out during the divorce proceedings.
