“Immigration reform” may be the single most abused phrase in the English language. It has become a legislative honorific almost exclusively reserved for proposals which benefit everyone but actual American citizens.
Consider the recent Obama-backed “immigration reform” bill rejected by Congress. That bill—the culmination of a $1.5 billion lobbying effort—doubled the influx of foreign workers to benefit corporate lobbyists, offered sweeping amnesty to benefit illegal immigrants, and collapsed enforcement to benefit groups in the Democrat political machine that advocate open borders.
But for American citizens, the legislation offered nothing except lower wages, higher unemployment, and a heavier tax burden.

Obama was photoed signing "memos" on AF One---not an "executive action." Why? B/c an E/O comes w/ legal baggage that the conniving Boobamba wanted to evade. Both "memos" are now on the Whitehouse website.
The scam works this way: signed Boobamba memos "delegate" to federal agencies orders to come up with plans (that must advance Boobamba's global conspiracy to overthrow the US govt w/ Third World federales and their cadres jumping the US border).
The federal agencies then "invent" Committees to do this (the better to overthrow the US govt). Then "Administrative Rules," after a comment period, will be published in the "Code of Federal Regulations," which magically turns them into law........ using federal fairy dust.
So Boobamba is shielded from responsibility---he doesn't have to take the hit. Behind closed doors, he tells federal factotums what he wants.....and faster than you can say "the combo plate w/ extra hot sauce".....the overthrow of the US govt commences.

THE "DELEGATION" HORROR STORY--A Federal agency MO since 1946. It's down to a science: (1) publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), (2) make the comment period really short, (3) stonewall any negative comments, and, (4) publish the rule, which (5) NOW has the force of US law. No Congressman was ever involved, and Boobamba doesn't leave his DNA on it. FREEPER ACTION NOW: Write your governor; call your state attorney general. Nullification means power to the states and power to the people.
The judiciary has consistently ruled against the nullification doctrine, asserting its unique, judicial right to declare laws unconstitutional. But this executive order isn’t a law. And given its extremely shaky legal footing, it isn’t difficult to imagine a federal bench recognizing the states’ right to disregard federal orders that don’t clearly have the force of law.
And that would be a tremendous — tremendous — blow against the executive’s assumption of legislative powers.
But in the shorter, more direct term: It would force the Obama administration to go on offense, perhaps suing the states to enforce a law........ that isn’t a law.

In the category “Presidential Documents” at page 70769, Obama ordered a White House Task Force on New Americans to “engage with community, business, and faith leaders, as well as State and local elected officials.” The task force is designed to “help determine additional steps the Federal Government can take to ensure its programs and policies are serving diverse communities that include new Americans.”
The second of the presidential actions entitled, “Modernizing and Streamlining the U.S. Immigration Visa System for the 21st Century,” filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, in the category “Presidential Documents” at page 70765 (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).
This empowered the secretaries of State and Homeland Security, in consultation with the director of the Office of Management and Budget, the director of the National Economic Council, the assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, the director of the Domestic Policy Council, the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the attorney general, and the secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Labor and Education.
The order was to make a series of recommendations “to reduce government costs, improve services for applicants, reduce burdens on employers, and combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the system” of issuing immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

I love my Senator, Jeff Sessions, and I communicate with his office frequently. I would love to see him as the Majority Leader, he is a perfect choice.
America needs to bring back jobs to America, and stop sending jobs to China.
We need to make stuff right here.
And we need to keep America for Americans.
These are so simple. Really. This is now America thrived and grew to the best country in the entire world.
Why change that?

I've seen you post that over and over, but you fail. It makes for a nice platitude, but does not provide a solution. America is made entirely of immigrants, mostly from Europe and many from Asia and Africa, but also includes those whose ancestors migrated past the Bering Straights.
That statement belies the facts that drove those jobs overseas. Bring them back to where? To a country so taxed with so few services, pandering to a bunch of unionists/communists, that insist their value is greater than those who invested the capital to make it happen. Or, do you want them to come back to ever increasing regulation and gum't intervention? How can business prosper if the gum't doesn't make it easy? THAT is how things got so prosperous, then those Gum't folk saw "pie in the sky; when they instituted income taxes and have gone crazy making it into the socialist dream it is increasing daily!
America thrived a long time ago. Now, I believe it is right where God sees it's proper place. It lost it's sight of Him, and gave way to the children of the 60's (of which I am one), which largely adapted to "if it feels good..."
Keep thinking that way, and nothing will change. If you want to change in reality, start a business and make it work.

The “solution” is to make stuff in America once again.
Republicans and democrats have BOTH sold out America.
The party which brings back jobs, will rule. Right now, everyone is on the “send everyone’s job to China, as quickly as humanly possible”.

Wrong, if you visit the BLS web site and do a little research you will see the private sector union participation rate is around 7%. For manufacturing a bit higher about 10%. All are declining year over year. There are many right to work states with very low taxes and great energy and human resources. Most states in the South have very low tax rates. Myth destroyed.

Government regulation do add a few pennies on the dollar to the final product. Not all regulation is bad, some has to do with quality of food ingredients etc. Some regs are wasteful but you shouldn't base your manufacturing policy on some obscure regulations. That is short sighted and ignorant. Ok now on to income taxes, my favorite subject. Free Traitors love income taxes because the thought of returning to the way the founders financed the USA by import tariffs is an anathema. If I were President I would eliminate all income taxes and go with a 10% import duty and a National sales tax.
Your gloBULL defeatist attitude sucks, get a grip. This country has huge resources in energy, land and people. They just need a leader and not a bunch of defeated peons who give up because OSHA makes people wear hard hats.
That is not the solution. That is a bunch of words you without direction.
The solution is in attracting people to invest their own money. Business requires a profit! If you cannot make things that people can afford, you have no market, and no profits.
Economics 101 should be a good place for you to start your studies, because your steamiest defy logic.

The thing is, QVK, that the GOPe are in synch with the Dems on immigration, because they get there illicit paychecks from the same places.
I just read Sessions’ 25 pager, well written and on par with the truth BTW, but the GOPe has shown that they do not represent conservatives’ values once elections are over any more than the Democrats.
I wish that Pete would address the GOPe as in the same group of “immigration reformers” as the DEMs. Or would that be too volatile?
