Some words on the scientific method and pseudoscience from Feynman:

Feynman on Pseudoscience

Feynman explaining the scientific method

I love this stuff.

"But, .... but...., he's the best candidate we've got, is miles better than Obama, and can win..."

Yeah, right.

The politician in office when they succeed in cramming Climate Change down our throats will get to distribute the money; thus, he will have great power. Romney believes that he will be the god of his own planet one day and this will be practice.

wow, unbelievable.

or maybe it’s not.

We have got to stop Romney or Bush from ever getting near the white house! No one that bumb or gullible needs to be anywhere near the levers of power.

Mitt is clueless and coreless. How about manly male R candidates this time around? Virtuous. Principled. Courageous, but prudent.

That leaves out Mitt, Christy, Ryan, Mc Traitor, Perry in spite of new haircut and glasses and the congenital wimp Bush. Who then?

Hell doesn’t suffer from any so-called climate change. The “global warming” pushers will like it there

I’m sorry, the WT page is cleverly and annoyingly redacted. Is there a quote that establishes context?

This paper went through three rounds of peer-review. You alarmists don't like it because it does not support your paradigm. The temperature gages we use now are at best +/- 0.5 degrees C in accuracy and we are quibling over 0.01 degree differences. Second, Klaus Hager 44-year veteran German meteorologist placed dozens of older mercury thermometers side-by-side with modern instruments used today all over Germany. Over an 8 and half year study, he found on average that the newer thermometers showed temperatures 0.93 deg C higher than the old mercury types. Germany began replacing their mercury thermometers in 1985 at all 2000 weather stations and completed the task by 2000. “Warming” in Germany began in 1986, stopped in 2000 and has been flat since 2000 and also was flat prior to 1985. Coincidence?

When you lose the primary you’re stuck with a lesser of two evils type of choice. Sarah Palin realized this. That’s why she advised conservatives to vote for Romney in the months before the election. That’s the logic of Bill Buckley and a thousand other principled conservatives. Rather than beating your head in futility against this basic reality, you should direct your energies into winning primary elections. Or, even more fundamentally, into changing the politics of this country by helping conservatism march back through the institutions that it’s been tossed out of over the last century.

You can’t short circuit reality. What’s required is hard work over time to win the public back to conservatism. When people agree with your ideas, you win elections, and you get the government you want. It’s work that gets us out of this hole, not whining, not staying home on election day, not hoping for SHTF to straighten the country out.

Romney must be moving assets into Al Gores preferred stock pofolio. Needs to raise some cash for some reason. I thought the LDL were supposed to reliably conservative? Between him and Dingy Harry you would think the LDL was some kind of weird cult or something.
