I’m so pathetic that after the first episode Sunday night, I checked the Web for the nearest Cinnabon locations (both located in malls). I actually never ate one before. Has anybody tried a Cinnabon? What are they like?

I think the black and white opening scene was Saul’s present day after going into hiding. I’m pretty sure the guy in the restaurant that made Saul nervous was from Breaking bad.

I noticed Saul seemed to be living pretty good for a fast food worker.

I really hope they bring in Badger from Breaking Bad. Also really glad they brought Mike in. Looks like Mike gets a little more physical next week.

He must have taken some seed money with him when he began his new Cinnabon life.

Yep, mike is a good character. I remember Jonathan Banks all the way back to the 48 hours movie with Nick Nolte and eddie murphy.

Mike Ermantraut was definitely a great character on BB.

Enjoyed Episode 2 last night - sort of reminds me of Fargo - dark humor.

Here's the "Better Call Saul" song they played toward the end of episode 2 (instead of a commercial):

When I see him, I see David St. Hubbins (Saint Hubbins being the patron saint of quality footwear).

One suggestion: Cameo appearances by Walter White. No, he won’t interact with Saul Goodman since they don’t really meet until years later but think about this: How often are you on say, supermarket lines or other public situations, and have NO memory of the people around you? So a suggestion: Show a scene or two (or three) of Saul on a line (or other crowded situation) and in front or behind him is...Walter White. They have absolutely NO interaction with each other but the viewing public will know about their future intersection.

Never watched BB when it ran with new episodes. (been stuck on Sons of Anarchy for 7 seasons) Just decided it was time to go to BB. Always heard how good it was and just got through binge watching the whole series about 10 days ago on netflix so the whole BB story is fresh in my mind and ready for BCS now!

Cinnabons are incredible. Best cinnamon roll you’ll ever have. ... Which is why I haven’t had one in years...

Thanks for the ping, CedarDave.

I’ll give this show a try. I saw most of the first episode and it looks kooky enough to work. LOL.

Anybody know the name of that musical composition that accompanied Jimmy while he began morphing into his inner Saul in the courtroom scenes while he was defending multiple defendants? I really liked that tune and it fit the scenes perfectly.

Vince Gillian does a really great job picking the right music for the scenes.

LOL I remembering seeing David St. Hubbins as Lenny, too. I guess I’m stuck in the 70’s.

“She says yes”.

Ha! Longest “yes” in history. Mike was a bad azz on BB, hated to see him go, especially the way he did.
