That was real racing in that photo. Real cars and really tough men driving them. Too much glitter today and the cars?
I was just thinking how interesting that picture is. Weeds in the infield. Cracked, old concrete/asphalt.
The real racing already happened, on January 24th.
Real race cars that can turn both right and left, and real drivers who manage not to crash into each other either by accident or on purpose.
Real racing where “rubbing is hack”.
Why can’t they have real racing at at Daytona least once a month instead of this phony All-Star-Wrestling “racing” venue?
It’s just demolition derby.
I’m going to snuggle up to my tv and pretend that I’m in warm Florida not the freezing North East.
Can’t wait..seems like it’s been forever.
