The United States has made significant gains against terrorism. We've decimated the core al Qaeda leadership, strengthened homeland security and worked to prevent another large-scale attack like 9/11.
At the same time, the threat has evolved. The al Qaeda affiliate in Yemen actively plots against us. Since 9/11, terrorists have murdered U.S. citizens overseas, including in the attacks in Benghazi, Libya. Here in the United States, Americans have been killed at Ft. Hood and during the Boston Marathon.

We do not yet know why three young people, who were Muslim Americans, were brutally killed in Chapel Hill, N.C. But we know that many Muslim Americans across our country are worried and afraid. Americans of all faiths and backgrounds must continue to stand united with a community in mourning and insist that no one should ever be targeted because of who they are, what they look like, or how they worship.
Our campaign to prevent people around the world from being radicalized to violence is ultimately a battle for hearts and minds. With this week's summit, we'll show once more that — unlike terrorists who only offer misery and death — it is our free societies and diverse communities that offer the true path to opportunity, justice and dignity.

ISIS Might Be Harvesting Organs To Finance Operations, Iraqi Envoy Tells UN IBTimes ^ | February 18, 2015 | Kukil Bora
In a bid to finance its operations, the Islamic State group might be harvesting human organs, Iraq’s ambassador to the U.N. told the intergovernmental organization on Tuesday, and asked the Security Council to investigate the allegations.
In the past few weeks, authorities have discovered bodies with surgical incisions and missing kidneys or other organs in several shallow mass graves, leading many to believe that the extremist group might be harvesting these organs to fund its caliphate, Mohamed Alhakim, the Iraqi envoy to the U.N., reportedly said.
“We have bodies. Come and examine them,” The Associated Press (AP) quoted Alhakim as saying. “It is clear they are missing certain parts.”

The world is under attack from Australia, to here to Europe , to Africa and this administration can’t even call them Islamic or muslims. No they would rather tell us not to get on our high horse or mention the Crusades or attack FOX News channel. Now they think this is about jobs.

He will be sending out armed DHS agents in APCs to incarcerate home-schoolers and ATF agents to confiscate BB guns and .22 ammo.
Yet only a decade or so ago, ethnic cleansing was a bad word for liberals, and a clarion call for war, such as in the Balkans. I wonder what has changed since then.

I didn’t think CNN could get any worse.
I don’t argue that hearts and minds have to be changed, but that takes time, usually generations. In the meantime, innocent people are being brutally slaughtered and living in fear and oppression under sharia law. Don’t their lives matter?
Obama and his ilk cling to the view that had we not invaded Iraq, it would be a bastion of peace and love.
