Rubio Abandons GOP Position, Caves To Obama Executive Amnesty(stick a fork in him, he is done)

UPDATE: Rubio’s spokesman Alex Conant reached out to Breitbart News after the publication of this article to clarify the senator’s position.

“Senator Rubio does not support shutting down DHS,” Conant said in a statement. “But he does support stopping the new executive order on immigration and is willing to support any approach we could get passed to stop it. But the President had made clear he will veto any effort to stop his unconstitutional order. And Senate Democrats have made clear they will not even end their filibuster on the DHS funding bill. The result will be a DHS shutdown which would be harmful to our national security. The answer is not for Republicans to surrender and pass a clean funding bill. The answer is for the President and Senate Democrats to abandon the executive order and cooperate in passing a series of immigration bills beginning with real border security.”

Conant also provided the entire transcript of Rubio’s remarks, which includes the exact quote from above and means the meaning of this story and the context in which it was put are accurate.

The original story begins here. The full transcript appears blockquoted at the end of the article.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has officially caved to President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty, another immigration fail for the once-promising potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate.

“During a visit to Las Vegas, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio said Wednesday Congress should pass a bill to fund Homeland Security without conditions, essentially stepping back from a battle with President Barack Obama over his executive actions on immigration,” the Las Vegas Review Journal reports. “The possible Republican presidential candidate said national security is too important to hold up funding, although he disagrees with Obama’s moves to go around Congress to halt deportations of up to

Rubio appears to be just another racist politician who could care less for the rule of law or our Constitution in his hell-bent to help illegals for his own selfish end.

Nah. He's just a politician who sold out to the establishment. They got to him and said, "Look boy, you have a great future if you play it the right way. Be patient, do the right thing, and there's no telling how far you can go..."

Just wait, there will be plenty of people here trying to browbeat us into voting for Jeb using the usual, Hillary thanks you, you must want a Democrat, etc, etc, ad nauseum come 2016. I still see some trying to retroactively browbeat those who couldn’t stomach McCain or Romney.
I held my nose for Romney, I couldn’t stomach McCain.

Most of the GOP has been paid to betray us and are happy to do it. Stop voting for someone just because they have an R.

Rubio has shown he is not on our side. Dump him, FL.

We 7th VA showed you how to do it, ask Eric Cantor.

Dear Senator Rubio,

You are a legislator. You pass bills and send them to the president. You are not required to pass bills that meet his approval, and his threat of a veto is exactly that - a veto threat.

Grow a backbone, pass the bill that you want passed, and let the chips fall where they will with the guy in the White House. Since ‘essential government employees’ will continue to come to work, the effect will be minimal, even if the guy in the White House vetoes the bill.

Personally, I doubt he'll veto it. I think he'll scream and yell about it, and then he'll sign it, as it is someone who has little backbone to begin with.

Why fund a program which is, in your belief, unconstitutional, which has been found by a judge to be of questionable nature and certainly failed to follow established standards, and is NOT a program which Congress has authorized, nor made any laws to enable it to happen.

Stop worrying about what someone else ‘might’ do, and start thinking about what you SHOULD do.

The People.

If the Senate were serious they would invoke the Reid Rule, abolish the filibuster and send the bill to the muslim. They would do that with ALL Legislation over and over. There would be no more than 2 Democrats on any Committee, just like the 70’s when the Demonrats ran the show. But they will not do this, we knew on Election night they were going to Sell out The People, they said so in utter horror as they were swept in the majority.

The result will be a DHS shutdown which would be harmful to our national security.

The best thing to ever happen to US "National Security" would be to abolish this STUPID "Agency" comprised of independent components that have no logical reason to be grouped together under the auspices of "awesome" lawyers like Jay Johnson.

The "DHS" is on borrowed time.

The continued existence of an "Agency" that appears to be dedicated to harassing AMERICAN CITIZENS and facilitating an invasion of the United States of America by hispanic communists and islamic terrorists is untenable.

Rubio is a degenerate TWERP who has NEVER had a real job and is an opportunist snake in the grass.

I knew Rubio was slime from day one. Watch him talk (and talk, and talk and talk) and you can see him enjoying listening to himself talk. The POS is a wind bag.
