“You should ask the president what he thinks about America.”
Why would I believe the word of a confirmed and constant liar ?
At lunch one day, I talked about my boy scout sons making a one-day 50 mile hike and asked my defense industry friends, including him ... "Have you ever done a hike like that?"
He followed that with his story...
He and fellow prisoners were being forced from one German prison to another in mid-winter conditions, the German guards were under orders to shoot anyone that dropped, and that order applied to all involved, including the German guards.
May God bless America, and to hell with people like Obama.
We all know he just spoke the truth. It says something that in this time a place in history, only one man had the nerve to finally say it.
To hell with Moslems and Communists. I think that covers it.
Me, too.
And that is the truth
A half-dozen states have introduced legislation demanding changes in the APUSH Framework, which minimizes the American Revolution, the Founding Fathers and the exceptional greatness of our country, in order to give disproportionate emphasis to the grievances of minorities.
I took APUSH back in the 1970s when they still taught real history. I would like to point out that "minorities" did not accomplish any of the following:
Secure our independence from Great Britain
Write our Constitution
Fight a Civil War
Build a transcontinental railroad (well, the Chinese did build about a third of it)
Open up, settle and develop a Continent
Found Standard Oil Comapany
Found United States Steel
Build a flying machine
Invent the electric light bulb, alternating current electric power, typewriter, computer, phonograph, telephone, radio, automobile, radar, or sonar.
Dig the Panama Canal
Fight and win two world wars
Harness the power of the atom
Build the interstate highway system
Land man on the Moon and return him to safely to Earth.
That's just off the top of my head.
Stop it with your idiotic replies
Still waiting for barky’s personal take on this.
His minions are jabbering up a storm. But he’s stuck with it, and he knows it.
Which was based on factual experience.
you can imagine the angst and opposition expressed when the little boy pointed at the Emperor and shouted
Angst and Opposition. Yes, Which is a point missed by most.
As you seem to understand... the story wasn't about the stupidity of the Emperor.
Really? The Emperor’s New Clothes was based on fact?
I really applaud the testicular fortitude of the dudes that tried to pull that one off!
They're not for you.
Blank out the “to” box and it won’t show up in the person’s ping page.
Thanks.
“You should ask the president what he thinks about America.”
Is anyone STILL confused about what “O” thinks of America?
I wished they all did.
Well, not the Emperor actually being nude part. I believe it was based on the author's experience of seeing the people around him lying to please the King. From the Royal Court on down to the poorest peon.
Much like the current situation.
Somebody had to say it. God knows it was crying out to be said.
"I want a president who is not embarrassed to say America is the strongest power on earth," the mayor continued. "And I want our enemies to be afraid of our president."
I'm with you, Rudy.
