President Barack Obama would veto a bill recently introduced in the U.S. Senate allowing Congress to weigh in on any deal the United States and other negotiating countries reach with Iran on its nuclear capabilities, the White House said on Saturday.
“The president has been clear that now is not the time for Congress to pass additional legislation on Iran. If this bill is sent to the president, he will veto it,” said Bernadette Meehan, a spokeswoman for the White House’s National Security Council...

Maybe Congress should pass a bill declaring themselves the highest lawmaking body in the U.S. so the bam can veto it, thus completing his coup.
We all knew this was coming.

Evidently it’s already been changed to “screw the people”.
Why introduce a bill to do what they already can do?
Seems to be “L’État, c’est moi” at present.
...or an enemy islamist himself.
He doesn’t pretend to speak for Americans — he has openly declared himself “a citizen of the world.”
This would be the only way to stop Iran from the nuclear weapons buildup.

And for fourteen years, my opinion has been one of a very few among constituents of any party in favor of doing it.
Back in 1991 or 1992, I ran back and forth between a combat platoon and low paying civilian temporary jobs (National Guard). Back then, some escaping Iraqi pilots were said to have landed aircraft on Iranian runways. Iran announced that it was then a military superpower and would attack the United States, if any attempt was made to fetch those aircraft or pilots. Since then, Iran has done more than any other nation to supply the Taliban in Afghanistan, Islamo-fascists in Iraq and other enemy elements.
It should have been Iran first, and we all know it. Only the most influential constituents have controlled political actions in the “War on Terror,” and look at what they’ve done to most of us at home already. And look at the way the balance of economics and power between nations has shifted over the past few decades.
Would be nice if they could override his veto but most of the Dems are just like him.
Are we in the dictatorship I’ve been ranting about?
Now Boehner can say, “Ok, we tried, lets go get drunk”.
Iran is the Key, while the ISIS activity has deflected attention away from Iran. This is the way the Deceiver operates...Deflection.
Meanwhile, Iraq is welcoming the support of Iran
The White Horseman is alive on this planet as we speak.
Doesn’t congress have to ratify any treaties?
