TALKING POINTSWe demand the immediate defunding of this dangerous organization---the Dept of Homeland Security.

Obama and Secy Jeh Johnson are running DHS as a criminal enterprise. Johnson and Obama have NO authority to nullify federal laws that don't serve their personal agenda.

These govt factotums need to be made to understand that in America the govt conforms to the will of the people---not the other way around.

==========================================

BACKSTORY---OBAMA GOVT THREATENS US CITIZENS: DHS Secy Jeh Johnson used his govt office to issue threats that would undermine US ntl security and endanger US citizens----Johnson said if Congress didn’t send President Obama the DHS funding bill that he wanted (rubber-stamping executive amnesty), federal grants allocated to local and state public safety agencies by law would not be delivered –.

=================================================

REFERENCE Sheriff Justin Smith, Larimer County Colorado's Facebook post responded to, what he considers, are "veiled threats" issued from the govt office of DHS' Jeh Johnson to all police chiefs and sheriffs around the country.

MEMO TO L/E UNDER DHS THREATS: Sheriff Justin Smith and nationwide L/E, police chiefs and sheriffs due federal grants need to act now:

The Bank Secrecy Act must be mobilized----to follow the paper trail and determine how DHS govt monies changes hands; to determine the scope and dimension of collusion in sub rosa deals (and who might be personally profiting).

<><> L/E needs to examine DHS and its related agencies' bank accounts.

<><> Joint bank accounts might be used to facilitate the transfer funds from one account to another, and/or wire- transferred offshore;

<><> To cover their tracks, DHS insiders might create fake invoices to show that govt money deposited into accounts was being used for legitimate and constitutional purposes.

<><> Financial schemes scheme might be advanced by issuing phony statements of payments from financial sources that actually covered the transfer of funds for insiders' personal use and/or for redistribution schemes.

REFERENCE: Homeland Security seeks $41.2 billion budget for 2016
February 4, 2015 6:30 AM By BioPrepWatch Reports

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced a $41.2 billion budget request Monday for the 2016 fiscal year.

The budget would improve the unity of effort at the department, Johnson said, focusing on “harmonizing DHS business processes.” Along with the budget, a new Common Appropriations Structure was also submitted to Congress, which would standardize financial planning, programming and budgets for all DH agencies, Johnson said.

There are five areas the department focuses on each year, and the budget is in alignment with those five missions, Johnson said. The first mission is to prevent terrorism and enhance security in the country by implementing security for the land, air and at sea.

The next mission is to secure and manage the country’s borders, and reduce the number of illegal immigrants and amount of contraband getting into the United States. The third mission includes enforcing and administering immigration laws and providing safe and secure detention of illegal immigrants in federal custody if they are a flight risk or a public safety concern.

The fourth mission deals with safeguarding and securing cyberspace, which impacts economic security. The 2016 budget would invest in technology and staff to reduce cybercrime and improve the security of federal network defenses.

The fifth mission, Johnson said, is to strengthen national preparedness and resilience so the country can prepare and respond to any type of disaster. <> Johnson said before Congress approves any funding for the next fiscal year lawmakers should approve funding for the current year.

“The President’s FY 2016 Budget provides the resources necessary for the Department of Homeland Security to further strengthen our efforts to fulfill our wide-ranging missions, while also being agile and vigilant in the face of ever-evolving threats and recent world events,” Johnson said. “But prior to acting on the FY 2016 Budget, I urge Congress to fully fund DHS for the rest of this fiscal year, as the current continuing resolution is disruptive, creates uncertainty, and impedes efficient resource planning and execution.”

There is a difference between hiding under a bed and fighting battles that can be won. This is a lost cause and continued fighting will only cause dissent in our ranks, dissipate our strength, and detract from other fights that can be won.

Quite frankly, Obama’s executive actions are a brilliant political move since they distract the GOP base and encourage senseless suicidal charges.

Who was the “idiot” that decided we will give Obama almost everything he wants in the Jan. vote but we will use the vehicle of DHS to stop Obama’s illegal amnesty spending. This was so outrageous to give the best tool possible for the Democrats and the News Media to use as talking points against us that it is inconceivable that the books were not cooked before this was even set up. And my Congressman who pretends to be a Republican but votes like Democrat is using the same talking points on his website. “It is our Constitutional duty to ensure that our country remains safe and today’s vote will adequately fund agencies under the jurisdiction of the DHS.”

One of the surest ways to lose is to adopt strategies (like shutting down the government) that are doomed to fail. That strategy fails since it requires the votes of 13 democrats to win a victory.

Wrong. Simply not passing it is good enough.

Getting to a 2/3 majority is not necessary.

Sen. DeMint summarizes the lack of leadership here:

Will the GOP majority ever stand for anything?

You operate from the assumption that leaving 10% of non-essential bureacrats in DHS at home is a bad thing.

The rest of us hope they go out and find productive work.

And, the other 90% who have to go to work and wait until this is resolved to get paid? How many weeks are you willing to keep them on the job without a paycheck? The majority of Americans will think that is very unfair and they will blame the GOP. You will lose that fight.
