Director John Brennan has ordered a sweeping reorganization of the CIA, an overhaul designed to make its leaders more accountable and close espionage gaps amid widespread concerns about the spy agency’s limited insights into a series of major global developments.
Brennan announced the restructuring to the CIA workforce on Friday, including a new directorate devoted to boosting the CIA’s computer hacking skills. He said the move comes after nine agency officers spent three months analyzing its management structure, including what deputy CIA director David Cohen called “pain points,” organizational areas where the CIA’s bureaucracy does not work efficiently. The changes come against a backdrop of evidence that the CIA’s focus on hunting and killing terrorists since the Sept. 11 attacks has led to an erosion of the espionage and analytic capabilities the agency built during the Cold War. Seems to indicate one reason why Obama is now open about being OK with Iran having the bomb. The Uniparty is shown as the enemy within, being okay with this guy Brennan who is now finishing the job of gutting US intelligence.

Gee, maybe it’s because the CIA is doing a job it wasn’t intended to do. It wasn’t supposed to be a paramilitary outfit.
That’s only part of it, of course.
True. There is of course incompetence. But the use of the CIA as being this army that doesn’t require accountability really irritates me.

Failed to foresee the Obama regime being supportive and complicit in the radical muslim uprisings that resulted in disastrous consequences for ME nations, destroying relationships with our Allies and forming new alliances with enemies of the US...among other epic failures...
I do recall that in the movie “Zero Dark Thirty” in one scene a senior CIA executive was shown doing a Muslim prayer. I guess that was him. I can understand someone being born into a particular faith, but how screwed up do you have to be to be a civilized, western, presumably Christian man and convert to a perverted death cult like mohamedanism?
I don’t care if this sounds prejudiced, but I don’t get why they even are employees.

Although bear in mind during the cold war many if not most of the CIA were communist sympathizers if not outright communists.
Of course we did. But we didn’t set ourselves up to be infiltrated by hiring members of CPUSA. That’s why Joe McCarthy irritated the left so much, because he was trying to enforce the law.
