(Reuters) - The U.S. Air Force on Wednesday kicked off a drive to attract and retain more women and minorities, including a push to increase the number of female officers and pilots.
Air Force Secretary Deborah James announced nine measures that she said were critical to ensuring the Air Force's success, such as a web-based mentoring system, longer deferrals for deployments after pregnancy, and a 30-percent target for the percentage of females in the officer applicant pool, up from 25 percent.

So I take it that the Air Force doesn’t care if their people are the best.
I am not saying that women and non-whites are bad, but it seems to me that they don’t care if they are good or not.
Only qualified people should be there regardless of sex or skin color.
The government has blackmailed everyone into selling the ridiculous notion that “diversity” is somehow more important than quality, or is somehow the path to quality.
They have so far failed to explain why standards have been lowered to accommodate “diversity”.
Ladies complained the Survival School for pilots in Spokane, WA was difficult to pass.
Wait until they get into a real POW situation.
Did everybody get the blast email last week that used the word “diversity” 50 times?

They just can’t go out and get the best most qualified people.They have to get the proper Gender and race.

There are times when I’m almost grateful that my Dad isn’t alive anymore.
Within the last few months, a vet of WW2 whispered to me that he wondered if he did the right thing. We are at that point because of liberals.
I think football teams should be fielded according to population makeup. That means 77% of the team will be white, 17% hispanic, 1.8% homosexual, .3% transexual, 50.8% female, 7.8% Asian, etc. That should really make the game much more appealing.
