As freepers mention, considering the incident occurred on a private bus the expelled students might get a day in court.

Is there any news about who sent the smart phone video to the Leftist on campus organization. Was it a frat member who was disgusted by it?

I wonder what will happen when an all-black fraternity has a similar video leak?

Now they need to expel every last black student who insists on using the word ‘nigger’ in their daily conversations.

Note: I refuse to call it the ‘N-word’ so long as black people are free to use it. To do otherwise would be acknowledging a racist double-standard.

I would love to mention to the college that any group who plays rap music (which is undeniably and equally racist, sexist, and bigoted) in public or at any event also be thrown off campus.

Maybe the ACLU will get involved.

My guess is that, after a time, Boren and OU will quietly settle this out of court.

The legal precedents and case law are clearly on the twerps side here. OU is a public school, therefore is considered the government where Constitutional rights are concerned.

But the practical matter is that Boren felt the need to get ahead of the situation before the campus exploded. Expelling them now, and dealing with the legal consequences of doing so down the road, allows the situation to cool off.

Freedom of speech, freedom of association, unequal application of laws (whites only). etc. Sue them into bankruptcy under civil rights and RICO.

Can’t we just outlaw hate?

We already created a series of new rights around gays ‘feelings’, they are both emotions.

Expelled for speaking like an idiot?

I can see 14th amendment violations all over the place with that move.

How about expelling the punks just for being a$$holes?
