Raymond Chandler once wrote a great passage about drug addicts, but he might as well have been describing politicians, another group of people who rarely know when to quit without intervention.

The novelist said addicts at first turn to pills and shots just to get over the humps. Only after a while, he wrote, "It gets to be all humps."

It's gotten to be all humps for Hillary Clinton. She never really has an audience anymore. Instead, she's almost always surrounded. That's a bad place for a politician to be at the start of a grueling two-year popularity contest.

Back in 2008, I wrote a piece comparing Hillary to Richard Nixon, another politician driven by a feeling of being cornered. Back then, the similarities were political.

Her speech reminded me of Nixon’s “honest cloth coat” speech.

Some Freeper posted a split video of her on the left and Bill on the right. Bill was saying “I did not have sexual relations” and Hillary was saying something like, “I did not delete government emails.” the tone, hand motions and word spading were almost identical.

Interesting it’s the Left taking her down. You can’t have a real scandal unless the press keeps the story in the news daily...which they are doing. One wonders why.

I'm guessing that she is now really fighting to stay out of jail. She knows how the game is played. The media has received marching orders: destroy Hillary. Her political future is therefore over.

Technically, her crimes warrant jail time. If she walks off stage gracefully, they might allow her to avoid jail. But if she struggles to remain relevant ...

I have to believe that she thoroughly understands her situation.

You know it could also be that they don’t consider Hitlery radical enough. Hard to believe, but not so hard when you consider we have an Islamic enemy agent as President and an Iranian spy as his Senior adviser. Hitlery is a leftist, but in the end she’s not an enemy of the US like these guys, she just an inept cow only interested in herself. I mean did you ever think you would ever see the day where a Muslim President, his Iranian Senior adviser and a traitor to the US named John Kerry would be making deals with Iran over nukes? If we told people this right after Sept. 11th 2001 they would never ever believe it in a million years.

She never really has an audience anymore

Her whole public persona and visage has been of one who has already been established as a leader in some sort of official capacity.

The problem with it is that not of those 'capacities' have really been earned through fair and open competition. She started with wife of Governor, then on to wife of President (with a whole lot of graft, greed, kickbacks and nefarious in between). And while she became a Senator through voting, that voting was bought through the auspices of her President Husband handing out pardons and money to select NY groups like it was confetti.

Even in her attempt at campaigning for Senator and now for maybe-President, she pulls this "Listening Tour" crapola about how she goes around and listens to the problems. Seems to me if she had any semblance of a normal life, she'd damned well know the problems, wouldn't she.

I won't even get into the loser number 2 runner up appointment of Secretary of State. There is really nothing of note unless you want to consider her lying, deceit, scheming, incompetence and jet-setting (drink in hand) all over the world. Her only claim to fame there is her failure with Benghazi and getting caught with her knickers down on the email SERVER.

There is nothing normal, or regular American about her. She's as phony and concocted, scripted and kabukied as a wrinkled old fat woman can be. And she probably stinks as a grandma, too.

Hillary is just not aging well.

Now all of us get old eventually, if we live long enough, and there's no shame in getting old.

However, when you live a life built around hate and you take a perverse pleasure in treating others shabbily and you spend your entire life living a lie, you just don't age well. The ugliness inside of you comes to the surface and you can no longer hide it under layers of pancake makeup.

Hillary Clinton is an ugly human being. She's ugly on the inside and she is so consumed with hate and contempt for her fellow human beings that even the Left are starting to run scared.

As they should. This woman is a wicked witch and has no business holding public office.
