He is not alone.

One of the problems is the horrifyingly large bureaucracy, which is solidly statist by definition and acts in every manner to defend itself. Its a tenacious parasite feeding off of the Republic with hydra-like defense mechanisms.

One man, no matter how well intentioned or capable, can cut off enough heads to defeat it.

We need 500-1000 strong Constitutionalists named to oversight positions in the bureaucracy, working 24/7, to even make a dent.

When cuts are made, the bureaucracy first cuts away meat and bone. The fat is the last thing it will give up.

If you work for the FED, you are not my countrymen. Bottom line. It’s unfortunate that it’s come to that, but it is in fact the case as far as I’m concerned.

John Wayne was also a great patriot, who had a great influence on America, and who fought for conservatism and traditional America.

If you are old enough, then you remember how the media and the left hated him and ridiculed him as an actor, and how he kept opposing them, and making films to counter their anti-Americanism.

Wayne had an incredible and positive influence on America, and he was doing it on purpose.

I agree, a POTUS is temporary, congress is unfortunately forever. I like Cruz, he’s really smart, but can he lead, that’s the question.

He might have fought for conservatism and traditional America but he didn’t fight the Nazis or Japs, he was to busy acting and whoring it up.

My larger point is that I don’t cotton to the notion of political saviors. People are fallible. That’s not a swipe at Cruz in any way. Its just a reminder that we don’t have a monarchy.

In a Constitutional Republic, our government won’t change until our citizenry does. The second largest threat to our freedom right now is a Leftist bureaucracy. The primary threat is a majority of people who support it.
