Different sources have provided a variety of opinions on the status of Iranian nuclear negotiations over the past twenty-four hours.
The Associated Press quoted U.S. officials on Tuesday saying that talks could be extended for an indefinite period after tomorrows nominal deadline, holding sanctions against Iran at bay for as long as progress was being made. On the other hand, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov said he thought the chances of reaching an agreement very soon were good. Sources told the New York Times that something might be coming down the pipe on Wednesday.

Picture Obama walking off Air Force One after a trip to Tehran to sign the agreement and waving it in triumph and declaring peace in our time.

stalling for time while the Iranians continue full court press to finish their first set of nuclear bombs on line.
They are masters at this sort of thing just as Saddam was in keeping the UN Security Council dilly-dallying for 12 years before authorizing Bush I to invade.

Of course they will agree to this ‘deal’ by Wednesday. I will be surprised if it doesn’t happen. Gotta give Barry and crew its legacy. Oh notice how the demand for the hostages is no where now?

Isn’t there a nuke bomb they has a long half life that would contaminate the bombed area for decades and make the area uninhabitable?

Cobalt has been discussed as a "salting" element to add to nuclear weapons, to produce a cobalt bomb, an extremely "dirty" weapon which would contaminate large areas with 60Co nuclear fallout, rendering them uninhabitable. In one hypothetical design, the tamper of the weapon would be made of 59Co. When the bomb exploded, the excess neutrons from the nuclear fission would irradiate the cobalt and transmute it into 60Co. No nation is known to have done any serious development of this type of weapon. No a real option, too bad😠
