President Barack Obama finds Indiana’s religious freedom law and others like it “unthinkable,” the White House said Wednesday.
“I do think in the mind of the president, the thought that we would have state legislatures in the 21st century in the United States of America passing laws that would use religion to try to justify discriminating against people for who they love is unthinkable,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said.
Critics say Indiana’s law now allows for businesses to discriminate against gays and lesbians.

AND ... Obama thinks it’s perfectly normal to run Christian businesses “out of business” or FORCE the owners to do business AGAINST their deeply-held religious convictions!!
Well, to tell you what I’ve thought about this legislation, all along, is that it’s the “gay issue” that brought it out ... BUT ... it’s not JUST about gays, but preventing Christian business owners from being forced into do several things that they consider to be VIOLATIONS of deeply-held religious convictions!

To me, this kind of legislation seems to have a lot more to do with OTHER THINGS, other than gays. It seems that the “gay issue” is driving the discussion, but to me, that “gay issue” seems to be a minor point, as compared to ALL of what legislation guaranteeing “Christian Conscience” in business is about.
Unless I’m mistaken about what this kind of bill means, I see this bill as preserving the “conscience” of a Christian owner of a business from serving or doing business with a person who violates that “religious conscience” by who they are or what they represent or what they stand for. SO, in that sense, it is NOT TARGETED at gays, but all sorts of other things that would violate the “Christian’s conscience”!
A sampling of some other things I can think of, in which one would DENY SERVICE to people, would be a group coming in for Pizza who supports ABORTION! That would really violate a Christian’s conscience.
Or, if a Mormon church group came in and had an “after church Pizza gathering” some Sunday afternoon. I would DENY THEM SERVICE as they are one of the largest CULT GROUPS in America ... and as far as I’m concerned Mormons shouldn’t get service from ANY CHRISTIAN BUSINESS WHATSOEVER, ANYWHERE!!
If Mitt Romney were to come in to that Pizza place he SHOULD BE DENIED SERVICE because of clearly being a Mormon!
I would DENY SERVICE to GLENN BECK, too, for his Mormonism!
SO ... it doesn’t appear to be a “gay issue” but a VERY REAL “Religious Conscience” issue and opens the door to CHRISTIAN BUSINESS to serving Christians and not VIOLATING their religious conscience!

Has the Current Occupant never even READ the Constitution? Separation of powers and reserving power to the States? And more particularly, the First Amendment?
No specific religion was named, by the way. It is conceivable that perhaps Muslims could refuse to provide services to any of the designated “victim” groups, would that make it OK then?
I’d like to see Obama’s gay supporters take their arguments to one of his Sharia courts.
What’s unthinkable is that most of those same people sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States end up as traitors.

Ironic that the left is always slamming businesses for being unscrupulous. Until business starts to try asserting their moral and religious scruples. At that point, the left wants businesses to be unscrupulous. The mind of a liberal...an unpenetrable thicket of deceit, desire for control, greed, contradiction and hate.
Too bad the left considers the Christians to be a big death cult, eh?
Something to think about: Muslims would EXPLOIT the heck out of such laws. I say DOWN WITH THESE SILLY LAWS.. “See Constitution!”
What a POS. Obama said he opposed gay marriage in 2008, but do you think anyone in the MSM will hold him to that?
