A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

Freep mail me to be on or off the Daily Bread ping list
Enjoying His Meal
Its not about the table, whether its square or round. Its not about the chairsplastic or wooden. Its not about the food, although it helps if it has been cooked with love. A good meal is enjoyed when we turn off the TV and our cell phones and concentrate on those were with.
I love gathering around the table, enjoying a good chat with friends and family and talking about a multitude of topics. However, instant technology has made it difficult. Sometimes we are more concerned about what otherssometimes miles awayhave to say than what the person just across the table is saying.
We have been invited to another meal at the table when we come together in one place to celebrate the Lords Supper. Its not about the church, if its big or small. Its not about the type of bread. Its about turning off our thoughts from our worries and concerns and focusing on Jesus.
When was the last time we enjoyed being at the Lords Table? Do we enjoy His presence, or are we more concerned with whats going on somewhere else? This is important, for as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lords death till He comes (1 Cor. 11:26).
I want to learn, dear Lord, when I sit at Your Table, to concentrate only on Your great love and sacrifice for us. Help me to enjoy the fellowship of others as we remember together what Jesus did for us at Calvary.
Remembering Christs death gives us courage for today and hope for tomorrow.
: The Lords Suppercommunionis a time to remember the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Paul writes to the Corinthian believers to remind them not to partake of this supper in an unworthy manner (v. 27). The ESV Study Bible explains: When the Corinthians observe the Lords Supper they are not rightly representing the sacrificial death of Christ (vv. 24,26) and the true character of the Lord. . . . The few who are wealthy in Corinth (1:26) have no regard for those who are hungry or who have nothing, while others have too much and some even get drunk. The practical application of Pauls instruction culminates in verse 33: Wait for one another.

We do get several Springs each year separated by winter or summer periods. If you don't like the weather just wait a few minutes. This will bring on of my favorite times of the year when I see that things the meadows have turned green. I expect they will be white tomorrow and green the day after.

I feel much better about her safety. Tomorrow night we will go downstairs and do the laundry and it will be her first test using her walker since she got “Reggie”.
She did take a piece/gouge out of a door yesterday getting into the office. I don’t care. Someday when someone buys the house they can get new doors. It takes some doing to get lined up and thru any door. And she’s 90 years old.

Now that I’m done with these shoulder operations, I need to jump out of a plane, with a parachute, of course.
