The Holder DOJ released 14 pages of racist or offensive emails they collected during their multi-year investigation of the Ferguson police department. Here is one email:

I suppose that some of the ‘oh so sensitive folks’ might be offended by these emails, but I didn’t find ANY of them racist.
But of course I suffer from CRFS (Chronic Racial Fatigue Syndrome) and White Privilege. No, please don’t feel bad for me because I am adjusting AND, I don’t have ANY of that “White Guilt” disease!!!

The question is: why is this ridiculously outdated information being released now?
Answer: Ferguson is having an election this Tuesday which will determine half of the city council. Many of the same players in #FergusonOctober are supporters of at least one of the candidates. Organization for Black Struggle, SEIU, and Missourians for Reform and Empowerment are supporting at least one of the candidates; these groups were listed as sponsors on the #FergusonOctober webpage last year.
There are some decent, honest people in this contest, but there are some fools as well. YahooNews has shown which side they support, but I expect nothing less from the media jackals.
I recently asked the FR community for prayers for Ferguson. These prayers were extremely effective and I thank you very much for your faithfulness. We have seen a wedge come between the media and the violent protesters after they attacked a local cameraman. These manipulated and deceived thugs are losing the goodwill of almost all of the local population and are becoming more radical and offensive as their support diminishes. Your prayers are working.
Now I'm asking for prayers for a (relatively) honest election, positive results and a peaceful aftermath. Specifically, pray for Wesley Bell, Mike McGrath and Brian Fischer to win their contests. These men have developed a track record of honesty and could help Ferguson recover from our recent unpleasantnesses. I have seen their opposing candidates screaming with the protesters and/or leading them from behind. Thank you for your prayers.
Several of the emails focused on President Obama, including one that stated he wouldn’t be in office for long because “what black man holds a steady job for four years.”
