I agree re: Cruz and Bush. I’d take Walker and maybe some others over Rubio, however.

If you had better pols, I’d like to see someone from FL on the ticket—but not with this choice.

We have a truly wonderful candidate in the wings but she's headed to the Governor's mansion, Pam Bondi our Att. Gen.She's the best of the best. But right now its likely we will have a Floridian on the ticket and if Rubios numbers don't get better it's gonna be Jeb.Not my pick.

Forgot about Bondi. She could be perfect in 8 years.

The Constitution doesn't actually prohibit the President and VP from being from the same state--it just says that the electors can't vote for two people from their own state. So if there were a Jeb/Rubio ticket, the Florida electors could vote for only one of them (assuming they carried the state).

LBJ could have picked John Connally in 1964 since the election was going to be such a landslide that he wouldn't need to have Texas' electoral votes for his VP candidate, but situations like that are rare.

Somehow the Democrats manage to get perfect ideologues for their candidates and never have to settle.

LOL! You think Hillary Clinton is a perfect ideologue?

Go lurk over at DU. She's their "Mitt Romney" --someone they've already resigned themselves to holding their noses and voting for.

Marco Rubio is a backstabbing liar and traitor. You think that would be terrific for Walker?!

Not for me. His tax proposal lost my vote! Now he has the gay marriage gaffe...

No thanks.

“I like Cruz but the reality is the GOP will fight him tooth and nail every inch of the way. They will undermine him at every opportunity and conspire to financially starve his campaign.”

Just like they did to Reagan! And that charge was led by George HW Bush!
