Assuming Jay Patel is an immigrant from India this would be par for the course. These immigrants are the same kind of people that will set up shop in the worse parts of cities.

Looks like Mr. Patel is going to need to find another career.
Good for him. I hope he loses his shirt.

It’s a good thing this happened in Texas and not up north, because some liberal mayor would have probably just given the bikers “room to riot”
In Texas, we just kill em.
Eventually the bad guys (whether they be muslims or bikers) will learn, not to mess with Texas!

Sons of Anarchy is a fictitious show with no basis on reality.

I understand this year is the 75th anniversary of Sturgis so it was going to be big anyway. My next-door neighbor just bought one of the new HD liquid-cooled bikes and is planning to go.

And just a coincidence it happened right in the middle the Legislature deciding on open carry and the knife ban.
And since this was publicized to be a regular meeting of your doctor/lawyer/regular guy type riders - http://localendar.com/public/ucoctadmin see the page with such scary dudes as the Disciples of Christ and Mud Bugs for Wounded Warriors.
And the cops having a “premonition” (yes, stupid reporter tricks) something was going to go down so they intimidated the restaurant owner and stationed SWAT and state troopers on the scene.
And the local Patriot Guard Riders having questions first thing.
Smells to me like a set up or sting that they knew they’d lost control of.

The restaurant should have never allowed those "Biker Nights" to happen in the first place. The very fact nine persons are dead, many injured and 170 persons arrested is all we need to know why it a terrible idea. In short, that restaurant may never open again as a Twin Peaks restaurant--in fact, it may even up being demolished like what they did to that McDonald's near San Diego some 31 years ago.

I'm just glad this didn't go down at a Waffle House.
They get enough bad press and I like going to my Waffle House when I'm down in the South.

I can think of about 9 bikers right now that I believe would have preferred the owner had discouraged them.
There are times when the public can’t just be running wild. This sounds like one of them.

I have my doubts. Killings like this scare customers away even if the place is bought by someone else, as people may not go there out of public perception. I remember many years ago after the Golden Dragon dim sum restaurant in San Francisco was shot up due to an act of gang violence it took quite a while for patrons to return to eating there.

That, too. Waaay different from hood rats who shoot up anyone and everyone around. They were focused on each other—either out of (possibly mutual) animosity and/or the desire to thwart a lethal threat. When the police arrived, it appears that the presence of a third party lethal threat stopped the fight.

Have not heard of biker gang violence myself since I was a kid and it was about the Hades Angels. Never heard of them.
Did you maybe mean the Hell's Angels?
Because I know you can't spell to save your life.
