On May 8, Atlantic City, New Jersey, 5th grader Aarin Moody reached into his pocket to retrieve a “late note” from his mother and a Nerf gun foam “bullet” fell out. Officials at the Atlantic City School District categorized the toy bullet as a “self-constructed weapon” because “it had a toothpick stuck in it.”

2) a toothpick in a nerf gun bullet IS dangerous- you can puncture skin with it or lose an eye

A thinly veiled excuse to enact more headupass lib BS. I guess kids can’t grow potato’s in jars anymore as they have to be suspended by toothpicks...at least that’s how we did it back in the stone age.

My son works for a start up that’s all cool and hip and a software developer friendly environment. Typical office-wear is often cargo shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals.
The have a Nerf arsenal that would give these school administrators a case of the vapors. And they use them every now and then.
What a screwed up society we have become! We are raising a bunch of pansy assed kids. The kids of the 30’s and 40’s were of a different breed. We came home with a black eye and didn’t run to mommy, we took on the bullies. We made our own guns out of wood, that would shoot rubber bands, or small pieces of linoleum, later to become rubber band, tape, bolt, car antenna pieces that were brought to school and never used. The same went for the switch blade knives. Most of those kids grew up to be successful in life. We don’t need tough kids anymore, we now raise metrosexuals. When the time comes they’ll be as useful as the Iraqi Army. A nerf dart?? With a toothpick??? A pop tart in the shape of a gun? Pointing a finger like a gun? Be afraid folks, be very afraid! We had better consider marksmanship as a course in school rather than this pussy foot no tolerance BS. Its becoming a very dangerous world, and our no tolerance BS towards guns has to be re-evaluated. LOL, I remember when I was in Middle School, usually in the Spring, the guys all carried a gun, loaded with water. No one got suspended, they just confiscated it. No biggie we usually had a smaller back up piece. :)
Seems like a handy way to keep from poking yourself with the toothpick...well, one end, anyway.
It’s all part of that Brave New World the elites have been planning for the rest of us for some 100 years or so.
