U.S. authorities announced charges on Wednesday against a former Drug Enforcement Administration supervisor and a technology specialist at the agency for failing to disclose their ownership stake in a New Jersey strip club.
David Polos and Glen Glover, the DEA employees, made false statements to the government by not disclosing they were part owners of Twins Plus Go-Go Lounge in South Hackensack, according to a complaint filed in federal court in Manhattan.
The club features scantily clad and sometimes topless women, many of whom were undocumented immigrants illegally in the United States, the complaint said.
Prosecutors said the men did not disclose their role at the club during 2011 background checks conducted to discover any outside employment that could create concerns about their proximity to crime or their risk of being blackmailed.
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said the men kept their jobs secret from the DEA, "betraying the oaths they had taken and creating needless risk for the agency they worked for."

I was recruiting informants.. !!
That’s not fair.
The Secret Service can have plenty of strippers and whores. Why not the DEA?
” The Secret Service can have plenty of strippers and whores. Why not the DEA?”
Time to fire all fedgov employees, and start over.
Does Sidney Blumenthal get asked these questions about what other jobs he holds down and businesses he owns?
Just payback for not passing on ALL the bribe payments to the brass.
Wasn't that a musical?
“that could create concerns about their proximity to crime”
There is crime at strip clubs? Who knew?
Could the real problem as viewed here not be the strip club, but in remaining mum about the strip club. Being a house of sin and unpopular in some parts of society as it is, then their secret could be used as a basis of blackmail. As in, wink and nod at something, or else we tell your mama (or your church, etc.) that you own a strip club.
Give the guy a break... the undocumented Ukie girls from Clifton are refugees, afterall.
LOL Sorry, I forgot the /sarc tag. ;-)
Another thread that’s useless w/o . . . .
These men had a background check in 2011, but four years later, in 2015, the DEA is just now finding out about it? If the background check can't uncover simple things like this, what good are they?
