A lot of recent convenient deaths have certainly made the senator’s life simpler.
That is James Trafficant’s former toupee.
Lots of reasons to not like Thad Cochran; this one is low on the list. She worked for him a very long time and his wife was pretty much out of it for a very long time.
A dead lhasa Apso.
CC
Marrying him off is less controversial than hiring a live in nurse. I’ve read that Thad is senile. He can barely dress himself. He reads what his staff puts in front of him.
So a 77 year old man married a 77 year old woman... Now the mans wife died last december, but she had been suffering from dementia and in a nursing home for the last 13 years....
So, this is a scandal?
If you show me evidence of abuse or neglect by the man to his first wife before her death because he was spending time with this woman, you got a scandal, but otherwise this is just busy bodying as far as I’m concerned.
Hell yes! He has been shacked up with this D.C. harlot for YEARS! He is a scumbag of the lowest order.
REMEMBER MISSISSIPPI!!!
The Democrats have known about his sick wife and living arrangements for years, but unlike certain members of the Tea Party they had to good tactical sense to leave it alone, knowing it could create a backlash of sympathy among undecided voters. Maybe if McDaniel’s supporters had left this issue alone and had not let their anger blind them to the tactical realities of campaigning, they could have had a better chance of winning. But then again, that election is a study in disciplined electioneering versus undisciplined rage. The Mississippi Tea Party succeeded at what even That Cochran’s handlers could not do; they made him a sympathetic figure to everyone who had lost a loved one to Alzheimer’s.
Tea Party had that election in the bag if they had been more disciplined.
