Self-imposed Sharia dhimmitude. Absolutely unfit for any public office.

And making a mockery of Christians like a lot of entertainment does isn’t divisive? There’s a “war” going on right now, in which it’s really time to drive the point through that while some people absolutely hate their religion being mocked, well tough rocks, pal, people need to stand up for their dislike and maybe take some losses for the sake of it, it’s amazing to think that we were a country of people willing to take some nasty crap for saying and protesting during the Civil Rights Movement, yet now, the government is saying, to be in essence a coward by comparison. MLKJr. is spinning in his grave right now, because he would gladly protest for the rights of the people who are critics of Islam to voice their opinion.

I am purposefully provocative and dismissive of any one that fails to comprehend the Constitution.

Would anyone have had trouble being provocative, divisive or disruptive of the Nazis in World War Two? Our government didn’t.

And so was the “Piss Christ” sculpture, but Dumocrats defended that “art”.

But their consistent goal is the destruction of the traditional American way of life.

Hey, mayor DIM/LIB...It is called the First Amendment. Just because moozlums get agitated by just about anything or anyone doesn’t mean that you abandon the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and our Freedom.

I consider hacking the heads off Christians to be divisive.

Mayor Stanton: The murders of Christians by Muslims is much, much more divisive than a cartoon. Believe me.

Publications, while provocative and troublesome, are generally not to be stopped by the state, Mayor Stanton. Consider:

Mayor Stanton: A publication considered divisive was the pamphlet "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine. Paine helped ignite the freedoms we enjoy in this nation.

African Christians are craving the most precious publication available: the Holy Bible. Talk about a divisive book, Mayor Stanton! The Bible gives God's Law and God's Gospel--and the world and Satan hate it.

FREEPers, if you want to give a Bible to an African who wants one, it is only $5.00 for a Bible. Give here:

Bibles For Africa

So, Mayor Stanton, while I don't consider this little "cartoon" contest anywhere NEAR the Bible or the founding fathers' thoughts, I do think you ought to see what IS divisive--the murders of human beings.

The state OUGHT to be concerned with real violence, and not the thoughts and ideas expressed within books.

When the state INSTEAD focuses on stopping THOUGHTS and IDEAS expressed in publications and speech, the state puts itself in the place of God. A place it ought not to presume.

Liberals (er, now “progressives”) have their “activists” who the press treats as heroic figures and who do Purposely Provocative Divisive Behavior” such as throw blood on people or chain themselves to trees or earth moving equipment. Even our very president when he campaigned was hailed by the MSM as an “activist”, as if it was a good thing. (putting aside the photo of him at the chalk board with an Alinsky-themed power/money diagram)

I cannot recall any liberal activists being called “purposely provocative” So, once again the Leftist Double Standard is worked into a story to be used against anyone who objects to something that leftists appear to support or at least find easy to excuse.

“purposely provocative” and a demonstration of “divisive behavior.”

What was the Piss Christ and "Book of Mormon"?

Awaiting the answer.
