If this Pope wants to engage in politics, then it’s high time to tax the Church.

>>Has he forgot religion

How do you differentiate religion from the other Created Things mentioned in Romans 1:25+?

Michael Savage says the Pope is a Marxist. If only Pope Benedict didn’t retire.

I’m not Catholic, but Catholics believe that God selects the pope, so Catholics who object to what the pope says, are objecting to God’s will. Quite the conundrum.

Look for this Pope to step down once he turns 80.

The Pope has chosen one of Europe’s preeminent genocidal Nazi maniacs as one of three co-presenters of the encyclical:

...but Catholics believe that God selects the pope...

Some do believe that, but the Catholic Church absolutely does not teach that God picks the Pope.

The Catholic Church is protected from teaching error. That is the full extent of what Jesus promised. The Papal Conclave exercises NO teaching authority. It most definitely CAN elect, and often HAS elected, the "wrong man"--corrupt, vain, greedy, violent, etc.

The notion that "God picks the Pope" is a rank superstition. I have tried to do my part to stamp it out.
