The truth of the matter is that the only answer for a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
furthermore, laws are only for good guys, because bad guys obviously do not obey laws.
If the penalty for murder is not sufficient in convincing them not to murder, then no further law will have any effect at all.

Lone wolf crazy shootings are relatively rare. No need to get all hyped up just because the media wishes things to be otherwise.
That’s all well and good, but it doesn’t prevent the lawless from committing crimes at all.
And bad laws, such as a law disarming good people, would have the effect of enabling crime.
So he would allow an ‘armed officer’ in a church but concealed carry holders are NOT permitted in his restaurants?
Maybe that’s why they are closing all over the country.
Imagine if we were trying to stop 100% traffic casualties the same way they try to stop 100% of mass homicide casualties.
We are a nation of 300 million+ people!
No matter what is done, this will never stop entirely! There will always be evil people.
The former: someone had a gun and stopped the intruder and only a couple of people died.
The later: no one had a gun and the perp killed nine people.
Conclusion: banning guns is not the solution.
I think the act is so new, and some people don't have a complete assurance of what their stand may generate

He DID say that in other countries with strict gun laws, there are/were still shootings going on ... unlike the mulatto muttonhead liar in The White House.
He DID refer to the cop that shot the two MOOSLIMS trying to disrupt a FREEDOM OF SPEECH rally.

The federal government wants you to run and hide when you hear gunfire, and has said so on a video or two.
A good man, armed, will run towards the sound, and answer back, in kind.
Thing is, there’s nothing new about this act. Crazy people have done crazy things all through history. It’s being hyped up because some think it is an opportunity to either advance gun control, divide among races, demonize political enemies, or attack a flag.
While this event is highly disturbing, it’s a typical act from a typical nut. The only difference is the 24/7 attention everything gets now hypes up common events to make them seem uncommon...or the reverse...hypes up common events like a rainstorm or drought to tie it to a political movement like global warming.
Whew! We were all waiting for musicians to save us from these events! Finally!
I saw a stat (on FR I think, but I cannot find a cited source) that said that mass shootings where an on-duty policeman was the first to shoot back averaged 12.4 dead per event... and those mass-shootings where someone else was the first to shoot back averaged 4.8 dead per event.
IF true and cited by a reliable source (and it certainly SEEMS true), then we need to be hammering this stat daily, in every public and media forum.

This Church Protected by S&W, COlt,Ruger and others. on the front of the church with parishioners seen at gun ranges and known to have CCW. There will be no shooting s in the church, or stabbings or other outsider disruptions, except for possibly MSM reporters trying to drum up anti gun demonstrations to make news.
