We been watching that show almost every night for the past few weeks. Shows from the 1961 season are airing on HULU. Wonderful show!

RIP Mr MacNee

A favorite of mine is the town by the sea that had been taken over by foreign agents as a foothold.

Oh no!

So many great and memorable people from my younger days are passing. This year is beginning to resemble 1977.

Ah, The Avengers. I still clearly recall when I was a young boy and saw Diana Rigg in a leather catsuit. It awakened my realization that girls weren’t icky at all. Emma Peel was my first crush.

I read where Macnee had negotiated a pretty good deal even back then, he got 2.5% of the profits of the show and that show has been running pretty much in syndication for the last 50 years plus DVD and other sales. He said that he was able to live pretty good on that 2.5%.
